Still the Indian top order came out here at Gabba, thinking they will do a Travis Head against the new ball. Thats bonkers. Also suggests the support staff and leadership are not making the right plans
India are lucky for the series to be still at 1-1. Given the batting strength of this team and no Shami, I was expecting 3-0 at end of Brisbane test. Thanks to 200+ partnership, Bumrahs brilliance and rain god
I get that Australia were wanting more runs for the declaration. only chance to win is to bat just once and take the full 20 wickets. Declare overnight and India can scrap to 210 or so and make the Aussies take valuable time to bat again especially in a rain affected game. Probably needed more at a quicker rate but the 40 extra runs could be vital
No mention of the timing of Australian declaration. I felt it came a tad bit late. Had they declared at the first rain interruption today, they could have got an additional 30-40 mins to bowl to India and got one or two more wickets.

Yes but u have to think about the follow on so ultimately it could save a lot more time
@@maxwatkins7032 They only added 9 runs post the rain break, so from a scoreboard and follow on perspective it was somewhat inconsequential
