Our youngest son who 41 yrs old lives with us he help pay bills. He help buying groceries. I told him if he was on his own he would have those bills but he tells me mommy buy that I'll pay for it. Our microwave is about to go out he told me that he will buy one. I cook & wash his clothes. Amy when he was little they told us that we should put him in a home but Amy my husband told me that God give him to us for a reason. Andy worked at Ingles for 7 yrs until he went to work at Bargain he has been there for going on 18 yrs. I have had people tell me that they love him & he was a good person. That make me feel good.
I am sure he is and yes God does not make mistakes and he will make it all work together for good..i will look for him :). Next time. Thank you always judy ☺️
@@judyavants7387 my kiddo has ASD and if he does end up needing to stay home with his mamma when he's grown like yours I hope I can keep as much love, grace and understanding as you seem to have for your son. God is good.
Your videos have literally been getting me through my days lately. My daughter has been very sick, so I've been sitting by her side praying over her and watching your videos to keep from stressing out completely. We did finally get some news that it's Lyme disease which we were finally able to start an antibiotic after 3 weeks of awful sickness...i wish I could just take it from her😏 but thank you for your encouraging videos to get me through 💕
It’s been 7 hours since you posted this video. I don’t expect any reply from you Amy but I still feel the need to say thank you for being here for all of us. You’re love for God make me remember the love I still have for Him but lost is for a while. Thank you for making me feel human again. Bless you and your family . Much love from the UK 🤗🤗
Hey Amy , That was so sweet of Jaden to clean the kitchen, God Bless her sweet heart , to get rid of the bugs mix up about 5 drops of liquid dish soap in a spray bottle of water and spray the plants that look like something is eating them , this won’t kill the plants but the bugs will leave. Hope you have a Blessed Day and as always Thank You for sharing your life . Sending love all the way from Alabama, Chrissie♥️
All I could think of when the power went out was the shopping trip. Thankful the power didn’t stay out long. So proud of little man swimming across and back on his own!! Good job!! Maxine was SO happy to have her people home. She was trying to show you early in the video that Ruby isn’t the only one that can chase a “Bear” 😉. I love how you were sharing about God preparing you for the big life changes and allowing you to have time to get ready for those wonderful moments when your kids move to their next level in life. We prepare them and give them deep roots so when go out from our homes to their own, those roots are deep enough to face the storms that come to us all. Love and blessings to you sweet lady and your precious family.
Amy I haven't been watching your videos for very long but I am learning alot watching how you do things. I really appreciated the message you had today. Thank you!
Good morning! I am headed back to work, soI will have to watch the rest later. I teach, so prayers will be needed. I will miss watching in the mornings. I found you during quarantine. You helped me get through.
Hydrangeas are my favorite flower. When we moved my husband surprised me and had about 200 bushes planted along our driveway. I had never grown them, it has been an experiment trying to get the best possible flower. Soil, sun, shade, and water all play an important part. I had the same "drooping" problem. I thought they were drooping from the weight. I checked with a nursery and most times they are drooping because they have too much water stored close to the roots. Even if the soil around doesn't feel very wet, the soil around the root might be. I have tried everything. I finally decided to use a stake in the center and green garden string to wrap around each bush. I thin them out a bit by cutting some flowers. Then I can enjoy them inside and outside! Good Luck!
My daughters live in Asheville and yes rent is crazy expensive but they love it there. The coleus plants love dappled shade and will continue until frost. If you want you can take cuttings put in water and they will root to make new plants. Thank you for all the great ideas.🌼
Beautiful testimony of your faith. It really touched me and you are so right. Standing on your faith and God's word when life is hard is so important. Not giving the enemy one inch... Easier said than done but God is always gracious and willing to teach us to hold on to Him.. blessings to you and your family

So thanks again for that , until tomorrow for abundantly blessed .have a great night .❤️
I had to laugh earlier. I HAD to clean out the upstairs freezer. Smoothy fruit downstairs freezer and I knew there was food in there. Looking at the fragments I now have 5 suppers planned and making 6 loaves of pumpkin bread this weekend for next weeks breakfasts. I was thinking Amy would be so proud.
Morning Amy Jo, you could also use the rice paper to wrap them in. Yummo! Looks delicious! Hi Amy. You are so encouraging when you talk because when you were saying about being sad or happy about Lauren leaving I always wonder how my Mom felt about me when I also went off. But yes God always gives us that little understanding that good or bad stuff are bound to happen but he prepares us upfront when he knows we believe and have faith in him. I thank God he gave me the opportunity to have a talk to my Mom before passing and she told me how proud, happy and joyful she was because God had blessed me with a wonderful God man in my life and she knew I was going to be care for and loved. As you spoke all that came back to me and reassure me that she is still taking care of me from heaven. God is so great. I love to see Maxine in your videos she brings me joy. So adorable. Thanks for being so motivating and bringing the word of God to my life I praise him everyday and as I hear you it always fills my heart with hope. Take care. You are so brave to record outside while thundering and rain. I get alot of anxiety when the weather is like that in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria..😣😣. God bless you all and stay safe.
You are so right Amy, Thank you!! For me, just the other day I just spilled my guts! God listens, he really does. What I love the most is feeling so at ease, so calm and my heart was good after having full on conversation with God. Something you remind me of often...God does listen! We may not have resolve right away, but keep the eyes and ears open...God knows best. P.S. When you were at the computer, you said you had to get your thumbs done, I literally thought you meant...have your thumbs manicured! Lolol 🙃
I moved home after college and my parents charged me rent and I remember being so mad about it lol! Six months later I got the opportunity to buy a townhouse and without me knowing it they had saved that money and gave it to me and I was able to afford furniture. It was such a blessing and forced me to save money. Great idea.

If your used brown sugar and a little vanilla in your whipping cream it taste like heaven. Its worth trying out especially on coffee. But you must leave the whipping cream absorb the brown sugar before tasting as it might be a little granular right when it is whipped. When using whip cream to "ice" a cake, cup cakes or even just to make it last longer in a stable way, You can also add just a teaspoon of instant pudding mix right in the middle of your whipping and it works really well. You can also add a full pouch of the instant pudding (flavor you like the most) into a 500ml amount of whipping cream and it makes the best chocolate, pistachio, butterscotch pudding or cake filler or even icing for cakes and cup cakes.
Thank you for your little chat. I feel it was meant for me. We have been really struggling financially since the pandemic started and it's been gradually getting worse and worse.. the Lord keeps giving me small messages to give it to Him and trust. Every day I'm worn thinner and thinner and I'm trying to trust but it's getting so hard. I try to remember, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Anyway, your talk was the pick me up I needed for today so thank you, thank you for that.
I know all about the peace that you're talking about that God gives you when it's right. My oldest (and only son) started having serious health issues his senior year of high school and with that came a completely shocking diagnosis of Asperger's (very high functioning but on the Autism scale ). NO ONE in his life ever suspected it but it hit him pretty hard. He was home bound most of his senior year and missed out on a lot of the fun of his last year. College life was really tough at first and I stayed stressed and worried constantly. I was driving back and forth (1 & 1/2 hours one way) several days a week to try to keep him calm while having two other children in school one of which I was homeschooling. He finally moved out into an apartment and it got better but I was still worried and stressed. Fast forward a few years and he is married to an amazing woman who is his perfect match and they have a beautiful home and in his last year of college. When he married his wife all of the stress left me and I felt peace for the first time in years concerning him. God is so very good and his peace is wonderful! He has blessed me more than I will ever deserve.
Hi Amy! You talked about your children growing and moving out. As this continues, and you have more time, are there any hobbies that you might start? Any travel? God Bless.
I have always loved coleus. My mom planted them all around the house as they can take both direct light or shade. sometimes when they seed they self sew for the next year.
It means you have slugs, caterpillars, or grasshoppers. You can buy pellets to sprinkle around the base of the plants for that. If not, they will eat your entire plant. Also, Neem oil mixture sprayed on them (when the sun is down) will take care of them as well.
Wow, that was a big storm, living in California, we hardly get rain, let alone a nice thunderstorm. Living in Australia we would get them all the time and I really miss them.
Awesome as always Amy! My husband went to the farmers market and got some tomatoes, sweet corn and peaches! Tomato sandwiches for supper tonight and peaches for dessert! Maybe sweet corn for supper tomorrow!!!
The first thing I do after being away for a few hours is take my dog out to potty; keeps tinkle accidents from happening. Glad ya'll had a great sunny day of swimming :)
My faith is constantly being tested, and I absolutely refuse to let go of my roots. God is my rock and I won't let that go, no matter the rest I'm given. ❤️
I could listen to it rain and thunder all day. Here in Mississippi, we're in somewhat of a drought. The cracks in the ground are getting pretty big. It's raining pretty much everywhere but here! We had a month straight of rain in June, but it hasn't rained at my house since it stopped at the beginning of July
If u put egg shell around plants, caterpillars etc don’t like crawling over them. But if they are already on plant u can use washing up liquid n water sprayed on plants n they slide off plants but doesn’t kill them xx
hi amy ...now thats a storm ☔ try popping cling film on the stork of each banana ...i believe you call it plastic wrap ....it makes your bananas last ...they go dotty on the outside but don't be fooled not on the inside ... really works ....great flips maddie n steven ....🌈💚
Something is eating the plants Amy...Make the Solution Combine liquid dish soap(Dawn) do NOT use the degreaser kind) with water at a ratio of 2 tablespoons per gallon to create a mixture of slightly less than 1 percent soap. Mix together well. Tip Homemade insecticidal soap doesn't work effectively if the water is too hard. To test whether water from a certain source is acceptable, combine water and soap in the recommended ratio in a clear glass jar and mix it thoroughly. If a scum forms on the surface of the water, the water is too hard and you must treat it or find an alternative source. Pour the Mixture Pour the mixture into a garden sprayer or spray bottle if you prepared it in a different container.Spray the mixture on a small, inconspicuous section of each plant you wish to treat for insects. Monitor that area for any damage for at least 24 hours and ideally for 48 hours. If no damage is apparent, you can proceed to treat the plant more broadly. If injury does occur, dilute the soap mixture further or choose a different, milder soap. Spray Affected Plants In the early morning, spray the affected plants thoroughly with the soap mixture, focusing your efforts on parts of the plant where damaging insects are concentrated, like leaf undersides and leaf axils. Remember that the wet soap must come into direct contact with the pests to control them. Repeat the Application Repeat the application every four to seven days until the pests are sufficiently controlled. I use it Amy, it works great! This year though, don’t be too hard on yourself, it’s been a very hot summer!
Hey Amy, I bought the hair dryer that you have and I used it for the first time yesterday and I love it. I also found me some of the food storage containers like you use but I haven’t used those yet because, we are trying to find us a used freezer that we can buy. Been looking for a while but, no luck yet. I am disabled and I want to get me a freezer so I can put some freezer meals in the freezer. It would be so much easier for me. Oh yeah, I tried putting cool whip in my coffee and I love it. I still want your recipe for the homemade. Thanks for sharing. I asked about Ruby so glad to see her,she is so beautiful and she reminds me of a hound dog that we used to have and her name was Heidi. You have a cat named Patches and I have a Boxer Bulldog named Patches.
Hi Amy, I know u have been having trouble with Hydrangeas, with the heads dropping, my mum said cut the heads back and they do like lots of water. I hope this helps x🌸🌸🌸🌸
Oh my I have never tried whipping cream in my coffee! Will definitely be trying that! That lettuce wrap looks delicious! I am going to try it also! Can you share your recipes for the lettuce wraps? We love taco salad!
I remember when my sons paid me alittle rent and people thought that was bad me taking rent from my kids but they have to learn its not a free world, they are on their own now, still not married or I have no grandchildren yet, maybe one day I it will happen, two sons 29 and 33, miss them every day, one in Florida and one in Mt. Holly N.C. love you Ruby, Maxiene and all the kittys, thanks for a great day with you Amy
Also prolly caterpillar s eating those leaves they should go away pretty quick . Or google what you can spray on the leaves , I have done dawn soap in A spray water bottle .okay have a great night !
Hello Amy and family! Looks like a good day from start to finish. Hope you didn't have to stay up too late editing because of power outage. Maybe God giving you a restful break? I'm happy to have found your vids and am subscribed for life. ❤Jennifer
My mom makes a salad with lettuce, avocado, feta cheese, dorito's and sweet chilli sauce. She usually puts the dorito's on just before serving, so they stay crunchy. It is really good. Your salad looks yummy too.
Amy, I love your strong faith in our Lord. I’m working on mine. I talk to God and tell him I’m sorry my faith is weak. I promise God I’m trying to have stronger faith. I love God and Jesus so very much. I wouldn’t be 56 years old without them. God bless you and your family. Hugs
I’ve only had taco salad that always has taco meat but love how yours looks might try it and just love the other recipe will try for sore! Thanks Amy!💐😁🙏

Good morning. I always said it could raIn every night as long as It was nice during the day. Growing up my dad was a letter carrier who walked his route up and down driveways as steep as yours, just not as long in an older city just outside of Boston. Anyway, your talk was the pick me up I needed for today so thank you, thank you for that.
I'm glad..you have to trust in that. He says not to worry about anything. Trust
Good morning blessings to you and your family, payers for your Journey In Jesus name.
Thank you
Poor Maxine wants to go too! Glad you all had a blessed day!
Love you. And that was an amazing storm!
Love watching yr amazing family can't wait for the wedding.xx
This worked for my vegetable garden last year. A non toxic bug repellant is self rising flour. Blows their tummies up and they avoid.
Another great video!! I hope Lauren does a new apartment tour when she gets all moved in!
She may
Hi Amy! You talked about your children growing and moving out. As this continues, and you have more time, are there any hobbies that you might start? Any travel? God Bless.
I don't know ..as my life gets easier..God puts things in my life to keep me going .so I don't doubt that he won't do it then :)
I love your recipes! Wish that I had them when I was raising my 6 kids!
Just about to head to bed Friday night 8:15pm here I’ll get half done tonight and watch the rest tomorrow love your stuff amy
I have always loved coleus. My mom planted them all around the house as they can take both direct light or shade. sometimes when they seed they self sew for the next year.
Gm Amy and all have a great Weekend 🥰🙃😉😊😁💙
U too
It means you have slugs, caterpillars, or grasshoppers.
Thanks Amy great video. See you all tomorrow.
Green onions roots you plant and grown green oinions
My faith is constantly being tested, and I absolutely refuse to let go of my roots. God is my rock and I won't let that go, no matter the rest I'm given. ❤️
I could listen to it rain and thunder all day. Here in Mississippi, we're in somewhat of a drought. The cracks in the ground are getting pretty big. It's raining pretty much everywhere but here! We had a month straight of rain in June, but it hasn't rained at my house since it stopped at the beginning of July
Yes he is! Stand firm
Thanks for showing the storm!! I miss it. Here is Southern California we don't usually get rain and thunder and lightning is very rare.
Another great video amy Asian wraps looked delish have a great rest of your day hope the rain stops love too you all till tomorrow xx
Thanks for watching 😊
@@amymaryon it was my pleasure such an inspiration don't know how you do it x
Ooooh my god I don't like it when there are thunderstorms and the power goes out - still lucky it's only 2 hours. Very nice video Amy👍

Loved seeing the full day! Is that a public pool that you go too?
Private
You should write a book Amy! 😊
I have :) many lol
Have a great weekend god bless your energy
those cuces are just the right size for home made pickles!! yumy
Oh how cute i just noticed Maxine had the mickey mouse logo on her side 😍
Yes she does
If u put egg shell around plants, caterpillars etc don’t like crawling over them. But if they are already on plant u can use washing up liquid n water sprayed on plants n they slide off plants but doesn’t kill them xx
If you put a wet cloth under your cutting board it will stop it from moving. Love your videos
hi amy ...now thats a storm ☔ try popping cling film on the stork of each banana ...i believe you call it plastic wrap ....it makes your bananas last ...they go dotty on the outside but don't be fooled not on the inside ... really works ....great flips maddie n steven ....🌈💚
I'm gonna have to try this ...
Have you ever thought about doing a Q and A type video? We have questionssss :)
Yes would be happy to..I'll ask for questions in next videos
God is good .You say it so lovely ! Have a great day ;) Can't wait for your next video ;)
Yes, azaleas 🥰. I would say your plants are being eaten. A good missing with water mixed with a few drops of liquid dish soap will get rid of them.
Maxine has a Mickey mouse pattern on her side 💕 I have never noticed.
She does :)
Omg! That’s so funny I just noticed that too! How adorable!!
I just noticed it too! Shes's such a cutie! No wonder she's such a great dog!
Oh my gosh, too cute!! ♥️
I just noticed Mickey Mouse on Maxine too!
Amy Maryon if you put a damp paper towel under your cutting board it won’t slide around while you chop 😊
Something is eating the plants Amy...Make the Solution
Combine liquid dish soap(Dawn) do NOT use the degreaser kind) with water at a ratio of 2 tablespoons per gallon to create a mixture of slightly less than 1 percent soap. Mix together well.
Tip
Homemade insecticidal soap doesn't work effectively if the water is too hard. To test whether water from a certain source is acceptable, combine water and soap in the recommended ratio in a clear glass jar and mix it thoroughly. If a scum forms on the surface of the water, the water is too hard and you must treat it or find an alternative source.
Pour the Mixture
Pour the mixture into a garden sprayer or spray bottle if you prepared it in a different container.Spray the mixture on a small, inconspicuous section of each plant you wish to treat for insects. Monitor that area for any damage for at least 24 hours and ideally for 48 hours. If no damage is apparent, you can proceed to treat the plant more broadly. If injury does occur, dilute the soap mixture further or choose a different, milder soap.
Spray Affected Plants
In the early morning, spray the affected plants thoroughly with the soap mixture, focusing your efforts on parts of the plant where damaging insects are concentrated, like leaf undersides and leaf axils. Remember that the wet soap must come into direct contact with the pests to control them.
Repeat the Application
Repeat the application every four to seven days until the pests are sufficiently controlled.
I use it Amy, it works great! This year though, don’t be too hard on yourself, it’s been a very hot summer!
Oh thank you Mary for this information 🙂. I will use it
Hey Amy, I bought the hair dryer that you have and I used it for the first time yesterday and I love it.
It's my favorite dryer..:). Have a beautiful day
Hi Amy, I know u have been having trouble with Hydrangeas, with the heads dropping, my mum said cut the heads back and they do like lots of water. I hope this helps x🌸🌸🌸🌸
Tell your mom thank you! They definitely get a lot of water lol
Oh my I have never tried whipping cream in my coffee! Will definitely be trying that!
That lettuce wrap looks delicious! I am going to try it also! Can you share your recipes for the lettuce wraps?
We love taco salad!
Over at my blog www.plainandnotsoplain.com. Asian lettuce wraps ;)
Nothing wrong with teaching responsibility:)
Also prolly caterpillar s eating those leaves they should go away pretty quick . Or google what you can spray on the leaves , I have done dawn soap in A spray water bottle .okay have a great night !
Either ignore the caterpillar holes in leaves or u can spray them. The hydrangeas all flop in the rain but they don’t mind at all.
I have 2 of my kids that live in different states now. It is hard to not see them all the time. I miss them but we do talk on the computer every week.
Be safe
Hello Amy and family! Looks like a good day from start to finish. Hope you didn't have to stay up too late editing because of power outage. Maybe God giving you a restful break? I'm happy to have found your vids and am subscribed for life. ❤Jennifer
Thank you. Yes he does ☺️
My mom makes a salad with lettuce, avocado, feta cheese, dorito's and sweet chilli sauce. She usually puts the dorito's on just before serving, so they stay crunchy. It is really good. Your salad looks yummy too.
That sounds delicious
Love Asian lettuce wraps we have a restaurant here that has them omg there so good 😊 never made my own but you made it look easy so I might try it 😊
Good Morning Mrs Amy
Amy, I love your strong faith in our Lord. I’m working on mine. I talk to God and tell him I’m sorry my faith is weak. I promise God I’m trying to have stronger faith. I love God and Jesus so very much. I wouldn’t be 56 years old without them. God bless you and your family. Hugs
Keep focusing on Him 🙂

Good morning amy
Good morning. I always said it could raIn every night as long as It was nice during the day. Growing up my dad was a letter carrier who walked his route up and down driveways as steep as yours, just not as long in an older city just outside of Boston. I hated to see hIm walking all day in the weather. When we have a really warm day, God usually blesses the growing things around us with the water they need to survive. Did your grass ever come up? Count down days to the weddIng. I am sure Lauren has it on her chalkboard. I am glad your power was only out for 2hrs. You have a spectacular rest of your day & weekend. See ya tomorrow
Not completely..but it is good enough for now :). It will be coming soon . Excited
