I realized the problem because I was looking for vacations deals online instead of doing my work. In addition, sore muscles and joints, waking up in the middle of the night, lack of energy and motivation to do anything, lacking strength and concentration quick in my trainings. I though that 3 days in a row of resting was enough y but, it didn’t. 20 minutes after starting exercise all muscle and joints pain came back. I guess I will heed more than 3 days to recover.

Currently not working out for 2 weeks now, it’s sucks, although my work is physical it’s manageable. Symptoms I got with overtraining waking up in the night with like 2 second panic, acid reflux which causes breathing problems, digestive problems, lack of appetite which made me lose 2 stone, panic and anxiety attacks, I was also under eating, probably around 1800 calories a day, yet I was doing 10,000 steps at work and lifting heavy bags etc each day plus going home doing weights and running.

I’ve been consistently doing 3 full body workouts a week for 6 months. I have chronic joint aches, though. I just bought anabolic and was thinking I’d do the 3 days a week calendar since that is what I’m used to. Would it be better to cut down to just the 2 days, though? I also do at least 30 minutes of low impact cardio everyday. Cutting back is kind of a scary thought.

I'm a chronic over trainer. In fact I've totally ruined my sleep because of this and haven't been able to recover from it since. I pretty much trained to failure in every set I've done for two years because of the strength I managed to accomplish doing this. It became addictive.
It's been about three months now and all I can get is 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night. I'm exhausted, have gotten weaker, and starting to feel depressed because I can't train well anymore.
Currently waiting to hear back from a sleep clinic. Don't be stupid and do what I've done. Try to stay away from over training.

@@DarkoFitCoach Hi, I have! I'm the strongest I've ever been.
Occasionally I still go back into that "one more set" and "go hard or go home" mentality and have to deload a little earlier than expected but I'm working things out.
      Thanks for asking! 🙏

Damn. I'm guessing I should cut back on volume and I should expect to still see results? I do calisthenics pull/push/legs split. Sets of 10 for upper body close to failure takes about an hour. Sets of 25-30 for legs never achieved failure for legs bodyweight style but sore everytime but I figured how else would the targeted muscle get stronger/bigger.

55:28 Some of your clients stayed in a deficit the whole year and you either allowed it or didn't know about it, which allowed it to go on for the entire year? Sounds like you're not doing your job as a trainer if you're that out of touch with your clients to where something like that can even happen.

I have exercise-induced anxiety and leads to a borderline panic attack. How do I overcome this? I don't think I'm overtraining... however I am a beginner so I could be clueless and wrong.

Another situation is at the gym especially doing legs. After my last third set my heart races and I feel anxious, neck gets tight and numb and I try to relax as I'm bordering a full on panic attack. Do I need benzos....?

Over training does not make you better then other people. I know alot of people who think this and end up destroying their body. I have a very physically demanding job and really have to watch my volume weekly. Also, not sleeping does not make you better than other people. Just more stupid....
