Terry, what I love is when you take a technology from 60 years ago, reverse engineer it and then modernize it to something that would make sense in our modern world. This is the sign of a person who deeply understands how this stuff works. Hats off to you Terrry.... I bet the original engineers from Johnson and Viking would embrace you ( this and PTT) if they were still alive !!!!! Bravo !!
Cool stuff Terry. I was going to ask "What the heck is a VFO?" but you covered that. But what the heck is "spot"? Ya'll are going to mess around and get me involved with HAM! Like I need another diversion.😵💫
Very cool! I just got my Viking II and 122 VFO working properly because of your videos. Yes I also installed your K1 Meyer and LOVE it! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us fellow HAMS. 73’s. KB2LMN
Great video Terry! Where in the world did you find a Collins S-Line style case? I have several projects that I want to put in such a case, and have been unable to find the cases. Are cases like the one you have available to purchase somewhere? If so, where? I would love to see the schematic.
Hi Terry, great Video as always! What is the Output power of the VFO in Milli-watts that is necessary to drive the mentioned Transmitters ? I like you Videos, even Thu I am not a Ham, I am in the Custom Prototyping Design, but always loved tubes and Tube related stuff. Cheers for Vienna/Austria

Thanks for bringing to life the old ads for equipment from CQ and QST of the 50s.
Oh man. How fun is this hobby?!? Wow!
Very cool VFO that anyone could build with requested schematics. Awesome Terry.🍷🍷

@@d-labelectronics I may have bought one of those dogs on E-Pay...!
Watching that hotdog at the beginning, I'm thinking you've been drinking too much wine.
Cool! You may want to add pin numbering to the 0A2 regulator tube.
nice!
What are you doing up so late, man?
Get some sleep; we want you around a long time.
Great video Terry!

Terry- Why did you use an 0A2 instead of a zener? Also if you use 1847 bulbs, they draw less filament current.
Do you have a kit or parts list/schematic? Always wanted to do this. Have a Health cabinet for it
