We leave the Baltic States behind us in 2 weeks straight through Poland. We visit the 2 largest cities in the country, Warsaw and Krakow. We also walk through Kampinos National Park next to the capital and Ocjow National Park near Krakow.
Former concentration camp Auschwitz is a place we have wanted to visit for a long time. This place has an incredible amount of dark history that we learn a lot about in a 6-hour study tour. We walk in a small group with a guide through Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II Birkenau. This visit made a very deep impression on us.
