Anyone have problems potentially hurting their training partner with this sweep? I've never tried this yet, but it's always a concern of mine when targeting knees for any technique at sparring speed. Other than that this is a sweet looking sweep!

Not really. It's a pretty common sweep and there's not much torque on their knee.

Top player needs to at least turn his left hip in and drive that knee down and go shoulder to head pressure but be ready for MG to roll right with another half guard sweep. Or when MG pops the leg out of half guard to go to knee control, pivot that leg out and drop that chest to chest for yoko shiho or kami shiho. Ending up in the splits on top of MG's guard is not smart bizzy my nizzy.
