One of your major strengths is the fact that you do makeup on celebrities. There are countless of celebrity-inspired looks out there. But who would one rather watch - a normal person copying from a celebrity's photo or the celebrity makeup artist herself who did the makeup? Everyone is looking for a professional celebrity makeup artist to show them how they really do it. Really. You should absolutely keep uploading more videos recreating the recent looks you've done on the celebrities. If you'll notice, your videos with the highest views are the ones about the celebrity looks... If you need to use/mention luxury products, you absolutely should! Even though a lot of followers may not be able to afford them, it’s still good to tell people of the products the Masters use. Otherwise, you’re giving the same suggestions as all the other gurus. Truly Teach the viewers how it’s done… I love that you’ve partnered with other makeup artists, and bloggers… Maybe feature less of the Beauty Talks videos, because what we really want to see are the tricks and how-tos. So if you feature a Beauty Talk, let it be about favourite products or master’s tricks/tips (because thats what we viewers want to know). I actually ended up buying that Byredo perfume you recommended! The point is, you’re in an excellent position to show us the true behind-the-beauty of celebrities. Maybe talk about how celebrities get ready for a photoshoot or the Oscars (what kind of body makeup they use, what facials or treatments they really get). Perhaps become the celebrity beauty authority in youtube. Carve a niche for yourself. =)

Loved this tutorial, it seemed simple to achieve and with some productos, like Groundwork i already have and use frequently. I was wondering if there was any other compact foundation you'd like to use for combination skin types (I have Studio Fix in compact but i don't love it for office use). Thanks for the great video!!
Does the Armani compact foundation have better staying power than the liquid version? I have issues with any foundation lasting well on long days, even with powder and touch ups...

simple everyday makeup! love it so much! i wanna apply foundation on myself like you do on others but can't do it. you're a pro obviously but i wanna do it too! i always ended up layered foundation and looked bad at the end of the day. which tool/tools do you suggest for foundation especially for beginners? love you and your work! xx
+Irem Oz Thank you, applying foundation is really not that hard, just always remember to start off light and if you need more you can always go back and add, the problem is with so many people that they start of with to much, remember to blend and to always start from the center of your face and work outwards. I like using a beauty blender or a buffing brush, remember to wet the beauty blender before using it.... xoxo Monika
Powder foundation is really tricky for me, because my face has to be really clean when applying this. If my face is not clean enough, the bacteria on my face will transfer to the sponge I used and in turn it will transfer to the compact foundation, and it will stay there.
Classic office look. I have to admit I only wear this kind of makeup when I'm meeting clients. Otherwise, bring it on the coloured glittery eye liners from Make Up For Ever, the red lips or eveñ a smokey eye ( not all these together at the same time of course - we are not in the 80ies after all).
Monika if you ever need models let me know, I'd love to be a model for you. I have blemish prone skin and would love a tutorial which gives glowy skin someone with blemishes and combination skin for an everyday look. Thanks xx

I am NJ License Esthetician and worked as SHISEIDO counter manager in Macys. IShiseidos product are amazing try skin care as well. really good technology and it works as I have seen differance treating people with shiseidos skin care. ( Bare minerals, Nars SHIseido and Cleu de pau ) all asr SHISEIDO lower and higher brands.
