I love this video. Here is a woman awaiting an answer to a troubling medical issue. Her friends come over to cheer her up the best way they knew how. So what if she put on a short dress with her friends in her home and danced around? These things may distract you and make you feel good for a few minutes, but in the end we all still have to trust God in all situations that we face Through all of the things we go through, we have TRUST IN THE LORD. This is exactly the type of video that those who are weak in the faith and those who don't know the LORD need to see. Evangelism isn't about showing the world our preachy perfect perceptions of what a Christian is supposed to be, it's about meeting people where they are and introducing them to the Savior of the World.
Brenda Anderson That is not the point . People are fixed on the story itself instead of why did the persons that directed this video choose sexual, fitted clothing. It served no purpose in the video and added nothing to be beneficial. After all isn't Gospel music and such supposed to be for the edification of the Saint? 1 Cor 8:9 9 But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.

2002 my mum was in hospital in a coma & the doctors said to the family prepare yourselves, it is only a matter of time, i had to tell my family to leave the hospital because of doubt & unbelief, I had to take Authority in Jesus Name! & ask Jesus please don’t pass me by, Jesus please save my Mum ❤️because I can’t do without her. I stayed in the BRI Hospital in Bristol for 3 days by her bedside Praying & listening to Fred Hammond, over & over again. After 3 days she woke up. Praise God 🙏🏾🥲 So i play me part, by God’s Grace to do what ever it takes to complete the Holy Place album heartmusicministries Just to say thank you Lord Jesus for saving my Mum every day❤️

As a man going through a medical condition I can appreciate this video. Sends a strong message. Friends will be there for you. But in the end no matter what the outcome. You are a child of god. And he got you.
I read some of the comments on here and someone asked where the "trusting in God" part came in. I can understand where you're coming from. But after seeing the video again (because I can't get the song out of my head) I think I get it now. The young lady's friends did what good friends usually do to cheer their girl up. It worked as long as they were there but when they left she was still left with the same fear and depression we saw her with at the beginning of the video. But it's at the end when they're in the clinic where the friends do what friends are supposed to do and lift their girl up in prayer. The party was to distract her from her problem. The praying at the clinic is where they turn the problem over to God and "trust" Him. That's my two cents anyway.
And if I can chip in, I think that this also describes human nature in that for all our good intentions we will often tend to go down the path of least resistance, i.e. take the easiest route, and 'party' more than we'd look to Him and prayer?

This video conveys the message perfectly, in the beginning of the video she was dealing with it on her own, which was clearly not effective, then her friends tried to cheer her up the best way they knew how, but in the end you just have to trust in the Lord.

The Holy Spirit put this song on my heart and few months ago then again the week I lost my grandmother. The night before she went home to be with God He told me I would need to trust Him more than ever. I soon found out that He was preparing me for my grandmothers passing. I love this song.
First time watching this video today. It blessed me. This was me yesterday on the couch but I was screaming and crying asking the Father take away the pain. My husband was at work and I text him. In short, the text stated no human understand what Im going through only the Father knows my pain. I couldn't make it off the couch. I didnt call my mom or sister nor my husband. My mother and her wallker with my sister came by and clean my house and fed me. My sister was like wow how did moma know needed to come by. I shared with my sister some of my medical reports. If you know what CA125 then you understand. Before leaving my mom anointed my head. Last night my husband kept playing this song when he came home from work. It was soothing like medicine. Well, I send the video this morning and just starting crying. Praising the Lord. I dont know why Im going through this but I will not lean to my own understanding and I will get through this with the Father. My surgery is Tuesday. I dont believe in consequence. No matter what I will trust in the LORD!!!!
There are stages, times in each of our lives, where trust in The Lord is plentiful, and then there are times when we are at our lowest ebb, and trust seems scarse. But I tell you, if you praise Him through those low times, He will fill you back up, until your faith and joy is so much that it is overflowing, and cannot be contained. This song is such a blessing. As going through cancer 3 times and now owning a cancer foundation, when I first saw this video, I instantly knew what it was about. The sister's doctors had already found something and as you see appointments were scheduled to do diagnostic testing. She was scared and depressed. When your doctor sees a tumor and then has to see if it is benign or malignant, it is a tough waiting time. These girls came to cheer her up in her own home, not going clubbing. They were doing a praise dance as my girlfriends and I do when we are going through something so difficult. We get dressed up, not for a man, but like beautiful women of God and dance it out in the living room! I have learned how to "trust in the name of the Lord" God when they are saying "re-diagnosis" or "liver failure" or "heart attack". I decided to share my joy with other women, starting my own cancer foundation. I do the same thing as these girls before any of my divas go into surgery. We have her bring her stilettos, put them on with her hospital gown, take photos and then have a knock down, drag out praise warfare before surgery. I have seen women come into recovery and get out of their beds saying they are ready to go home. I am chasing them to get back in bed. That is the power of praise warfare. Try it sometime - it is a wonderful experience.

This song brings tear to my eyes. I didn't know the title of the song but searched the words"I will trust in the name of the Lord" . It takes me way back 1+ year when I was pregnant with my daughter and my ex-boyfriend was acting up and not caring. It gave me comfort to know that God is by my side. I won by His grace and my daughter is big and finally let go of the man I thought was my ride n die.
Who is here in September 2020. We can all attest to the fact that the year has not been easy amidst the covid. But God never fails those who trust in Him. Keep believing, all hope is not yet lost.

If you are confused about the video then simply ask God for direction and I'm sure he will reveal the director's true intent to you. I don't think a lot of people listened to the lyrics of this song to be honest. How does it start "There was a time i truly believed that I could do it on my own" It means there are christian who haven't fully understood the concept of God's grace, the concept of God's love and God's thoughts towards us. Not every christian out there is free from sin or fully trusting in God hence the term lukewarm. The video depicts such a christian and shows how she trusted friends her earthly friends in her moment of trial (Bad situation) to cheer her up as you could see the original fake excitement on her face when her friends came in but Fred Hammond is saying such person should put their trust in God and in God alone. If you listen to the second verse, first lines talk about putting your trust in things that can perish (Man will perish but God and His word are forever). It speaks about friends and family being around but you could still be alone and in dismay. At the end of the video what happened? She was alone again back to her down-trodden situation. Listen further it says their best intentions might not be the best as they are only human and obviously because of her class of friends that would have been the obvious case. I feel we all just look at the surface the periphery of the song without understanding its deep meaning yes a song can be melodious and harmonious but what message is it trying to pass. The bible says study to show yourself approved a workman holy and acceptable and I would like to believe that we should all know the difference between reading and studying. I feel we have read the video instead of studying it hence why a lot of people are coming with these misconceptions I believe the director of this video must at least have some spiritual inclination to God for Fred Hammond to use him as his director (I may be wrong). But my point at the end of the day is that we were all new believers once and would have had a phase where you struggled with sin or a weakness. Even apostle Paul said there were thing I didn't like to do but I found myself doing them. I hope this comment will maybe help to clarify some misconceptions and God bless us all.

Its amazing how you can have these modern day scribes and Pharisees who can't see past their own nose spiritually. The only thing this video is showing you is what it looks like when people trust in things other than the lord Jesus Christ. And for the comments by Celisse Riley who says you didn't hear him say the name Jesus you should go buy the project because the name Jesus is mentioned in a number of songs on this album. Fred Hammond is one of the most real Christian artist you will find and his music has ministered to me for years and I thank God for him. The video is not a sign of him selling out it is only meant to bring the message of the song out more. It shows the truth that everybody dose not trust the lord. Every one dose not dress in three piece suits and long fancy dresses and hats. We need to learn how to reach these souls and deliver the same message trust in the lord then we can see a change in people.

Her well intentioned friends tried to distract her fear with alcohol, partying, etc. in the end all of those things fell flat....so she ended up where she should have been which was to trust the Lord. sounds like a lot of folks I know

At first, this video left me baffled like everyone else . I was so distracted in fact, that I hadn't even noticed until now, when I scrolled to the end, that they were praying at the doctor's office. Many people are claiming Christians are judgmental when commenting on certain aspects of the video. And they say this is the reason why they aren't Christians. That is not why. It is because you want to live in both worlds. With God, there is an expectation toward holiness. He allows you to come as you are and He will even meet you where you are, but the purpose is not for you to remain the same but to began to transition into Christlikeness.
This video is so beautiful and touching. The fact that these ladies got all dolled up to have a praise party for Jesus, praising God in spite of the circumstances and how they were there for one another joining together in their faith in God at the doctor's office. AMAZING! This video spoke volumes to my soul.

I love this video. Here is a woman awaiting an answer to a troubling medical issue. Her friends come over to cheer her up the best way they knew how. So what if she put on a short dress with her friends in her home and danced around? These things may distract you and make you feel good for a few minutes, but in the end we all still have to trust God in all situations that we face Through all of the things we go through, we have TRUST IN THE LORD. This is exactly the type of video that those who are weak in the faith and those who don't know the LORD need to see. Evangelism isn't about showing the world our preachy perfect perceptions of what a Christian is supposed to be, it's about meeting people where they are and introducing them to the Savior of the World.

It served no purpose in the video and added nothing to be beneficial. After all isn't Gospel music and such supposed to be for the edification of the Saint?

2002 my mum was in hospital in a coma & the doctors said to the family prepare yourselves, it is only a matter of time, i had to tell my family to leave the hospital because of doubt & unbelief, I had to take Authority in Jesus Name! & ask Jesus please don’t pass me by, Jesus please save my Mum ❤️because I can’t do without her. I stayed in the BRI Hospital in Bristol for 3 days by her bedside Praying & listening to Fred Hammond, over & over again.
After 3 days she woke up. Praise God 🙏🏾🥲

As a man going through a medical condition I can appreciate this video. Sends a strong message. Friends will be there for you. But in the end no matter what the outcome. You are a child of god. And he got you.
I read some of the comments on here and someone asked where the "trusting in God" part came in. I can understand where you're coming from. But after seeing the video again (because I can't get the song out of my head) I think I get it now. The young lady's friends did what good friends usually do to cheer their girl up. It worked as long as they were there but when they left she was still left with the same fear and depression we saw her with at the beginning of the video. But it's at the end when they're in the clinic where the friends do what friends are supposed to do and lift their girl up in prayer. The party was to distract her from her problem. The praying at the clinic is where they turn the problem over to God and "trust" Him. That's my two cents anyway.

And if I can chip in, I think that this also describes human nature in that for all our good intentions we will often tend to go down the path of least resistance, i.e. take the easiest route, and 'party' more than we'd look to Him and prayer?

First time watching this video today. It blessed me. This was me yesterday on the couch but I was screaming and crying asking the Father take away the pain. My husband was at work and I text him. In short, the text stated no human understand what Im going through only the Father knows my pain. I couldn't make it off the couch. I didnt call my mom or sister nor my husband. My mother and her wallker with my sister came by and clean my house and fed me. My sister was like wow how did moma know needed to come by. I shared with my sister some of my medical reports. If you know what CA125 then you understand. Before leaving my mom anointed my head. Last night my husband kept playing this song when he came home from work. It was soothing like medicine. Well, I send the video this morning and just starting crying. Praising the Lord. I dont know why Im going through this but I will not lean to my own understanding and I will get through this with the Father. My surgery is Tuesday. I dont believe in consequence. No matter what I will trust in the LORD!!!!

As going through cancer 3 times and now owning a cancer foundation, when I first saw this video, I instantly knew what it was about. The sister's doctors had already found something and as you see appointments were scheduled to do diagnostic testing. She was scared and depressed. When your doctor sees a tumor and then has to see if it is benign or malignant, it is a tough waiting time. These girls came to cheer her up in her own home, not going clubbing. They were doing a praise dance as my girlfriends and I do when we are going through something so difficult. We get dressed up, not for a man, but like beautiful women of God and dance it out in the living room! I have learned how to "trust in the name of the Lord" God when they are saying "re-diagnosis" or "liver failure" or "heart attack". I decided to share my joy with other women, starting my own cancer foundation. I do the same thing as these girls before any of my divas go into surgery. We have her bring her stilettos, put them on with her hospital gown, take photos and then have a knock down, drag out praise warfare before surgery. I have seen women come into recovery and get out of their beds saying they are ready to go home. I am chasing them to get back in bed. That is the power of praise warfare. Try it sometime - it is a wonderful experience.

If you are confused about the video then simply ask God for direction and I'm sure he will reveal the director's true intent to you. I don't think a lot of people listened to the lyrics of this song to be honest. How does it start "There was a time i truly believed that I could do it on my own" It means there are christian who haven't fully understood the concept of God's grace, the concept of God's love and God's thoughts towards us. Not every christian out there is free from sin or fully trusting in God hence the term lukewarm.
The video depicts such a christian and shows how she trusted friends her earthly friends in her moment of trial (Bad situation) to cheer her up as you could see the original fake excitement on her face when her friends came in but Fred Hammond is saying such person should put their trust in God and in God alone.
If you listen to the second verse, first lines talk about putting your trust in things that can perish (Man will perish but God and His word are forever). It speaks about friends and family being around but you could still be alone and in dismay.
At the end of the video what happened? She was alone again back to her down-trodden situation. Listen further it says their best intentions might not be the best as they are only human and obviously because of her class of friends that would have been the obvious case. I feel we all just look at the surface the periphery of the song without understanding its deep meaning yes a song can be melodious and harmonious but what message is it trying to pass.
The bible says study to show yourself approved a workman holy and acceptable and I would like to believe that we should all know the difference between reading and studying. I feel we have read the video instead of studying it hence why a lot of people are coming with these misconceptions I believe the director of this video must at least have some spiritual inclination to God for Fred Hammond to use him as his director (I may be wrong). But my point at the end of the day is that we were all new believers once and would have had a phase where you struggled with sin or a weakness. Even apostle Paul said there were thing I didn't like to do but I found myself doing them.
I hope this comment will maybe help to clarify some misconceptions and God bless us all.

Its amazing how you can have these modern day scribes and Pharisees who can't see past their own nose spiritually. The only thing this video is showing you is what it looks like when people trust in things other than the lord Jesus Christ. And for the comments by Celisse Riley who says you didn't hear him say the name Jesus you should go buy the project because the name Jesus is mentioned in a number of songs on this album. Fred Hammond is one of the most real Christian artist you will find and his music has ministered to me for years and I thank God for him. The video is not a sign of him selling out it is only meant to bring the message of the song out more. It shows the truth that everybody dose not trust the lord. Every one dose not dress in three piece suits and long fancy dresses and hats. At first, this video left me baffled like everyone else . I was so distracted in fact, that I hadn't even noticed until now, when I scrolled to the end, that they were praying at the doctor's office. Many people are claiming Christians are judgmental when commenting on certain aspects of the video. And they say this is the reason why they aren't Christians. That is not why. It is because you want to live in both worlds. With God, there is an expectation toward holiness. He allows you to come as you are and He will even meet you where you are, but the purpose is not for you to remain the same but to began to transition into Christlikeness.
