Honestly from a character perspective, both Alex and Steph’s best ending is staying in Haven Springs together.
For Alex, in my opinion, she wants a family and if you get everyone on her side in the end, she gets that family.
For Steph, she uses running away as a coping mechanism. She left Arcadia Bay after Rachel’s death, she left the band after things got complicated with her band mate and after Gabe’s death, she plans to run away again. Steph’s best ending is finding somewhere and someone she feels safe enough to stay with for the long haul and that someone and somewhere is Alex in Haven.

I totally get your point of view and your opinion, I can partly agree, with a little difference. At first I gotta say about my interpretation of events: what caused the fact that steph had left the drugstore makeup? For me, I don’t feel like she stayed in haven because things got complicated with Izzy. Things got complicated with her, because Steph felt the urge to stay. She wanted to try this. She needed a new experience, she needed to find her true self by exploring the world and trying new things. When you find the pin on the roof in episode two, the dialogue Alex can hear confirms that stephanie even asked Izzy to stay in haven springs with her, because she knew she need to try this. It’s just my interpretation and I totally get your point of view. I also have to add that my opinion might be subjective because my coping mechanism is actually similar to Steph’s. I haven’t found my safe place yet. I’m still searching, so I may look at it a little differently. Nevertheless I still believe that Alex and Steph should explore the world first. Don’t get me wrong, Haven springs is their anchor in my head, it’s canon for me. Haven Springs is the place they always come back to, the place that’s their real home. The place they celebrate Christmas in, the place that is their safe space. Just the definition of ‘home’. But having home and family in Colorado doesn’t mean they can’t explore all of the beautiful places in the world they deserve to see, all of the incredible people they have yet to meet. In my head they’re traveling around the world, but always come back to haven. To Eleanor, Duckie, Ryan, Pike, Riley, Char, Ethan… to all of them. Like Gabe said, ‘home isn’t something you find, it’s something you build’. They build their home in haven and nobody can take it away from them. But why should it mean they are not supposed to seek for adventures? That’s what I think. Haven is an anchor for them, but they need to seek for adventures as well. I think we don’t really have to either push them out of haven or force them to stay til the end of time. It’s not that easy choice to make, it’s more flexible topic for me. Let me know what you think about what I’ve just said, and once again, thank you so much for sharing your opinion :>

I cried watching this. Alex needs steph, Alex's trauma with her power and family. And steph needs Alex, with the trauma about Rachel's death, and then the band, then Gabe's death.
I just knew from the first scene between them that they were meant to be.

Life is Strange 4 will have Max,Chloe and Alex in the same game, no word about Steph yet made by Dontnod Entertainment. its not a joke the title is still a few years away but thats okay, might as well wait and make it good. I did like this edit

Techically it's possible (+i think they're aware bringin back Max and Chloe will be incredibly well received) if they do come back, it will only be on 2/3 scenes imo, not only will it be too hard otherwise (depending on your LiS endings, they have to do each scene with and without Chloe) but their story are already written, not point in making them a central part of the story (even more for Chloe, give the girl a break)
Tho i sure hope we'll see them happy together (with Steph reuniting with Chloe too)+ it would be funny to see their respective power from a different POV, Max would rewind time for some reason, our character would be like wtf? while Chloe is completely used to it and treat it as a normal occurence

Sorry late reply, it will follow the Sacrifice Arcadia Bay story ending with max and chloe, it is still early and so much can change. I am not sure how Alex will be tied into the story it will also follow her and steph leaving the colorado town together. I went searching for a life is strange 4 game I found out about this information, they will meet up in a new location with a new story but take it with a grain of salt 🧂 its not 100% I really do hope they stick with their idea.

I love that game or nearly all LiS only not the seconf with that dumb brothers, thats only hate for me and rage.
I have only one huge problem with the end of true colors, it has no real end. Its only what if bla bla bla...
You get so much love and passion in that game that the times fly by and you get one with it and then this poorly sucking end, what I hat about it is the lazyness from the devs, that you must thinking about it how would it be. And thats for me for this game and so long time playing a total no go. Like the end from ME3 and the gamers they dont like it and then it comes the free dlc extended ending for it.

Honestly Ryan and her are both perfect I love strph because I see her in before the storm and her backstory is super sad the truama is real but I feel alex is truamatized and from experience it's a love that isn't meant to last... but Ryan shown her a new emotion she never experienced before she felt peace so my first play thru I chose to stay in haven with Ryan but I'm trying to get all endings
