Skrillex is such a visionary for pushing a radical genre of music into mainstream. I can't imagine what it would've felt like to discover a glitchstep song in 2010, it would sound so alien! My buddies asked me at my party if the sound system was broken when I turned up the volume, totally drunk, and jumped around like a freak. I love this track. None of my friends listened to this kind of music. We were all metal heads. The Reason and this one are the most nostalgic tracks for me made by Skrillex! He got that special something in his music.
I find it crazy how much I used to take this guy's stuff for granted. Like I started out listening to him and just was into it because it was my first exposure to the genre and I was like "this is loud, but it's new and I actually only really enjoy a couple songs" so when I started to branch out my tastes in dubstep, I sorta just stopped trying to listen to this guy a whole lot, but coming back to this now, I never really cared for it before, but damn NOW I know this is a classic BANGER. Really trippy production that's great for a late night sesh.
