They are the best breed ever. My mighty mighty Welshie, Monty, was with me for almost 16 years. The smartest, sweetest, funniest boy I have ever known. Independent but not to a fault, he just had his opinions at times. Great cuddler and giver of kisses. We loved him to distraction and he reciprocated. He still owns our hearts.
Rescued an Airedale at 15 mos. - GREAT dog, died at 10 from heart failure. Rescued a Welshie - 2 owners in 8 months, absolutely wild. Renamed her to Mischief (Missy). Now 2 years, she is everything you spoke of; loves one of our cats and uses the other as a chase toy (sometimes). Very smart and very funny. Be creative when you teach them tricks and name their toys.

Yaaa i have one 14 years miss so much 😭how u said this dogs love play, have fun and are still in rush great hunters on fly, spiders and dove. This dog can drag me on my bike when I'm ~15yo.
Just got a little welshie, diddnt know she would be so good with the cat, just started taking her for walks on a harness, she keeps trying to slip it is it better if i just use a collar?
