This "wet" tire has the potential to make racing so much better but yall just can't help yourself with micromanaging everything... can't even let the teams make decisions for themselves and riding around forever under caution killed what could of been a good race 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂
Makes sense, @@ellislavallee. In F1 they have two levels of wet tires: full wet and intermediates. The former is good when the track has standing water, the latter is for when the track is just wet and not raining all that hard.
I think because it was an experiment for this late in the race I can understand some of the rules as they were figuring it out as they went. I think now that they have done it they should meet with the teams, drivers, and Goodyear to see how they can improve this situation. I do believe the drivers and teams making their own decisions on the situation will be allowed in the future.
Now imagine Brisco I believe with a couple more seasons heck maybe even right away truex car won't go to shame. Brisco was simply on an incomplete team once Tony and Gene put their interests elsewhere.
It's likely more to do with the equipment he's in now, not his abilities...take alot of drivers out of prime equipment & they'll likely suffer...the true talent, is from drivers finishing respectable places in much less superior equipment
I’ll always have a bias towards this track as it’s my home one. I had to leave after stage 2 cause of the rain incoming. Took my cousin, his first time ever seen a nascar race, much less a cup one. He had fun, but definitely wasn’t prepared for the engine noise 😂
@@beenthere.doneit201typical 5cel comment. 54 wins and counting, one of NASCARs 75 Greatest Drivers. Plenty of actual field fillers to talk about, but they don't cross your mind because unlike Denny, they're not even in the conversation every week.
All the champions got problems throughout the race Bush spins, blaney too, truex & Hamlin, logano & Elliot surely not their day, Bell shows how to deal with the conditions and he made it from nearly 10th to the win at restart, loudon/New Hampshire is C Bell favourite track already 🎉🍾⚡😎🏆🥳🤩🏁
And a lot of these up-and-coming, so cool. Professional drivers actually suck because they're making rookie. Mistakes and the commentators are glossing over it because they don't want nascar to be unappealing. But yeah, it's trash right now.
@@gregpiller2331 Yeah I agree. Sure it was a bet less action before the rain and that's probably due to the cars but after the rain, that was something.
would have been fine if whoever was deciding things up stairs would have just said teams are running the wets the rest of the 81 laps of the race and quit trying to figure things out during extended amounts of caution laps man how frusterating... how to hold the teams hands the way you want it..... let these guys race! and waiting for Keselowski to get going is what you should be doing anytime a wreck like that happens inconsistent caution crew! (lajoe never even stopped when he spun and gunned...but CAUTION!) gosh dang it hire me for that job already....! you need a consistent button pusher....
So at lap 231 when bell crosses the commitment line to pit lane and goes back on track is that not a penalty anymore? And was it not enforced because other drivers did it to or the rain tires? I’m confused
This is one of the worst seasons that nascar has had yet. And if you don't think them, little cheap shots that they keep giving each other to make each other spin out isn't illegal. Then you're not a real race car fan. NASCAR is becoming trash from the young people that don't want to lose and don't want nobody to win.
@@phillipwilliams7679I'd agree it's been an awful season, that fuel saving stage 1 at Daytona put a really bad taste in my mouth, the next 2 races were OK, but then an awful race at Phoenix, Richmond, and COTA gave a nasty after taste, then Martinsville was so bad I quit being a full-time NASCAR fan, since then I've only watched 3 full points races.
@polycube868 They put so much tech into the race. Trying to get numbers like its formula. One racing that they forgot that the drivers should have a passion for what they do. These new drivers are just pushed out like cookie Cutter racers that basically have a personality but, do Basically the same thing.
Takeaways from NH: Bell being in the "chase" last year.... not a coincidence. Corey LaJoie & Kyle Busch this year - no luck! Hamlin's motto: "Rubbin' is racing" & Josh Berry - your day in victory circle is coming.
Josh Berry has only had 2 finishes outside the top 10 in the past 7 races . Running good Josh
He'll Be watching on Tv next season

True but the racing was still good so I guess it depends on the person
The dynamic grooves of dirt without all the prep. Run em!
The reason from NASCAR is because of pit road safety. They don’t want teams stretching on dry tires then sliding down pit road in the rain.

My guy Chase Briscoe finished second let’s go! 🔥🔥🔥
Briscoe will be a factor when he gets in that Gibbs car for sure
Ah the good ole days when everyone got to watch real time and see the commercials.
Blaney taken out yet again
Blaney could've won the race if it wasn't for the contact
Welcome to NASCAR.
I think when chase is out of Hendricks they should bring Bell over
mike mcdowell is such a bum😭💀12 team has to be one of the unluckiest this season
👍
I know NASCAR won't respond to this is rick allen ok his voice wasn't sounding to good at the end
So sad that Kyle Busch is past his prime.
Not sad at all.

the 7 car spun out like 8 times this race lol

Coleman Pressley is basically just an NBC announcer at this point
Pretty cool to see them racing in the wet weather. Hope they try it again.
maybe they can race instead of a 10 lap safety car for a simple 1 car spin

Who would have won under the old rules?
Reddick
