I normally like Patti, so maybe it's an off night for me. But, I think this is terrible. It's sounds like English isn't her first language. If I'd heard her singing this first, I wouldn't have listened again...
She usually does have a beautiful singing voice, she is clearly talented but I feel she is a bit overrated. She has a reputation of not being a very nice person. She has a huge ego. Also, if it wasn't for Life Goes On, nobody would really know who she is. Before that, she was only known for the stage and for people who don't aren't fans of Broadway and the stage wouldn't have known who she is. I only found out who she was from an episode of Frasier and still didn't really know who she was and then I saw Life Goes On and then I knew who she was. I can't say I'm a fan of hers only because of her reputation.
I was once a die hard fan, but, I completely agree with this. I don’t think she is very nice, and what she did in Gypsie was completely deplorable and unforgivable. Her ego is off the charts.
