Hello and good evening Jenny. Sorry that it took me over a day to get to this new update. I did look up the Zorch Factor II comp. It looks very cool. A lot of Rockabilly bands from the UK. Idid listen to a few of these. Almost all of them. I am really liking the Woods "Echo Lake" album. The music may not be totally revolutionary, new or cutting edge. But the songs were written well. Some are catchy. Those Stooges albums were awesome grabs. Priced nicely at McKays. Has McKays been in business for a long time. I saw some pictures of it. It looks like a big store. Loved the RSD update Jenny. Tell the ever cool Dave that I said "hello". Have a super week~ Rob/Boston
@@Paneeks1960 Dave sends greetings and good wishes your way! I get out of UA-cam in-school-suspension on the 15th and then maybe I can get back to putting clips in for your convenience! It is fun to let the art/ sleeve cue lead you…especially if the price allows you some room for error! The dollar sale was at Collect Co in Lebanon, Tn. McKays is our favorite for selling off/trading records that someone else might make better use of. Gosh- McKays has been around a long time (since ‘85!). They have expanded to I think 6 locations now. They give 1/2 the retail value in trade and 1/3 the retail value in cash…but I have good luck thrifting and can usually make out like a bandit with trade credit😜 And it really feels like a spree to get something I would not allow myself to spend the money on without trading! Hope you are doing well and staying warm!🧡
@ Yeah…well, I think we all celebrate RSD regularly. RSD Co. needs to come back to the purpose. I have to imagine I’m not the only one feeling a bit weary of their game.
Hi Jenny! Totally agree about Record Store Day. I don’t do it anymore-it’s just a social event where you wait in line and overspend on overpriced new releases. I prefer to support local record shops and bargain hunt year-round.
Wow the Headless Horsemen! I did that one on a show awhile ago. I do think you’ll like them. Garage punk psych crew. Swinging sounds. For a buck too! Yeah forget RSD too expensive. There’s a Byrds/Buffalo Springfield set from Monterey pop. Saw it show up on Discogs for $75! This is why I hate RSD chumps buying stuff up and making it impossible to even consider buying. Gotta love commercialism…..NOT! Nice $1 finds. 🖖🚀
@@grz66 All in this stack aside from the 3 Stooges came from the dollar sale. They flip through them so fast in the online sales that some great stuff gets left behind. The guy who was digging beside me found a Supercharger record and I was so mad! I kicked him in the shins and ripped it out of his Han…ok ok….I didn’t do anything but fume and stare at him real weird, but good stuff is out there!
Well you might like that I Monster. I think the style of music became known as Plunderphonics. Its a bit simililar to The Avalanches who i assume you know Bea? The track on there 'Daydream In Blue' was a massive hit in the UK.
@@BeaSides Whatt?? Look up the tracks 'Since I left you' & particulaly the video for 'Frontier Psychaitrist' which i think will appeal to your love of kitsch humour! I reckon you'll love it
Yaz is yazoo here Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke half of Erasure. RSD has become tiresome particularly twice a year. Expensive yes and never much of interest for myself as I'd rather go crate digging and find the unknown bargains. $1 you found some great stuff. Far more adventurous than silly predictable rsd.
Headless Horsemen is another great record for $1, I paid more than that for mine, great finds!
That experimental folk looks interesting.

You are going to love that Homefront album, it will take you back to the 80's, maybe some Cure sounds, very cool record, did you say it was $1?
