Wooo so happy that you started again the vids on the genetics I was studying myself the clearwing mutation and stumbled upon your vid. We are getting closer to the rainbow budgies lol in the making of it❤️💕🌈
We still need to cover couple of mutations before we can discuss rainbows. I want to make the rainbow mutation video, when I covered all the mutations that consist in a rainbow budgie
Thank you Budgie World! My friend raised lacewings. And she's trying to do this. She had a beautiful white lacewing female named Bullet. Now I understand how this works. 🤎🤍😊

These mutation only occur in english or half english budgies, so these mutations are for another variety series, maybe we'll make it sometime in the future, but now I am concentrating on covering the mutations that occur in all budgies
I have a white Lacewing and we named him "Budgie"🤣😂🤣, very original I know lol. He's a big dope and sleeps all the time and super chill. My female budgie "Bow" is the dominant one. She is very bossy, always at attention and they fight like a married couple. It's hilarious to watch.
Greatings from Egypt 💖 it's amazing and entertaining video like always .... I only get the mutations well from u💝💗 thanks for ur effort 😍 and plz explain clearwing and grey wing the next time😅
I had a pale blue budgie who had a white head and slowly got blue downwards. He was mostly a light powder blue but his butt was sky blue. His mate was pure white. No brown/grey on the feathers at all, 100% pure white with red eyes, white feet/a light pink, and its cere was almost white too but a little bit little pink/blue/purple. We only knew it was a girl after it laid an egg xD
Does anyone know if I breed single factor spangle yellow female with single factor pied blue male( on my photo) what are the chicks gonna be like? Is there a chance of opaline or rather lighter than the parents/dubble factor pied??? If anyone knows I'll be thankful!!!❤️❤️❤️ My female is gona be ready soon but I don't know which male to separate her with, she's interested in both.
Pls notice this , I am seeing my budgie lose a bit of weight and he seems to be having watery poops off late for the last few days . I am wanted to take a vet appointment but in my region due to the pandemic their is no vet available . Please help

I just had a quick question. I have a lutino female with red eyes and a sky blue cinnamon male with black and white iris. They just had 2 babies. Both have black eyes, one is black and white and the other is yellow with black. But it's still early to tell what they will be as it's only been about 2 weeks since they've hatched. What do you think they might be?
So turns out my male budgie is a sky blue spangle and my lutino is lutino lol but the babies are just now getting into week 4 and both are going to be Texas clear bodies! One white and one yellow both with black eyes.
Hey I'm new to keeping budgie I hv two pairs they are small so small that the gender cera is not in colour but I see mating signs like hoping on each other 😬 can I get answer to this
Seperate them until they get older for mating bro. Or else they will find they cannot mate and start fighting and killing each other or even themselves.
Your videos are very educating. However, when you have a male with one X gene carries ino and the other gene carriers cinnamon gene, this would be a normal male that carries both ino and cinnamon genes. Remember that cinnamon and ino are X-linked recessive inheritance. This means a male budgie must carry 2 ino genes or 2 cinnamon genes to appear phenotype ino or cinnamon. So, in order to see a lace winge male, the bird has to carry 2 ino genes (one on each X gene) and 2 cinnamon genes (one on each X gene). You said that Type II Lacewing is only visible in males. In fact, Type I and II Lacewing splits are actually normal birds split for both cinnamon and ino. They can never be visible. I think you meant to say Type II Lacewing can only occur in males.
Yes, XX is Female and XY is Male. Apparently it's the opposite for birds, although I haven't seen any videos for birds switching the X/Y chromosomes and using the opposite combinations for females and males. In reply to your question about this, the video creator states that the gender chromosomes for birds are actually called Z & W. And that ZZ is a male bird and ZW is a female bird. And the Cinnamon and Ino mutations are on the W chromosomes. If that is the case, he should go back and edit all his videos that are using X and Y for gender chromosomes and change them to Z and W. Other than the gender chromosomes confusion, this creator's videos are very informative and easy to understand. Thank you sir, for your efforts creating your videos!! ❤
Lacewings are not a combination of cinnamon and ino but a separate unique mutation. Cinnamon Inos look no different to non cinnamon Inos . They just Luke ino. Lots of Inos are really clear lacewings white the ino gene I’m in Association with the dilute gene in double factor
All lacewing budgies have red/ruby eyes, due to the ino part of that gene. This is in the definition of this mutation, if your budgie doesn't have red eyes, then it's not lacewing.

Please do *"Rainbow Mutation"* on your next video 😊 i heard that rainbows are a combination of five other mutations...🤔 but i'm not sure.

Make video on difference between fallow and lacewing budgie
Why your site budgieworldwide.com is always in undergoing maintenance??
Aye! I have one with Lavender in her wings. Named her Sweet Pea!
Please Please do a video about the least known budgie mutations:
- *Hagoromo or Helicopter Mutation*

I like it when you say

I want to send you a photo of my white cinnamon budgie. He look exactly like a white cinnamon lacewing. But his body has a very light grey shine.

xx is female and xy is male right?
Yeah, I think he made a mistake but I'm confused why not that many people are talking about it in the comments
In birds it is the opposite than that of mammals, it is actually "ZZ" for male, and "ZW" for female, Z = X and Y = W.
I hope that cleared things up.

TL:DR
Breed an INO X Cinnamon to get a Lacewing
I just some female of this but i don't know why they don't have any children like the mom all is different
first off your information some of it's completely wrong not always Wing budgies have red eyes because I have lace wings with clearly no red eyes.
All lacewing budgies have red/ruby eyes, due to the ino part of that gene.

I've watched several of your videos and honestly none of them make sense.
