the whole point is to have both sides cleaned at once. i clean hundreds of records a day and this will save a ton of time.

If your records aren’t that dirty that’s fine. But if you’re getting records from the record bin it doesn’t clean them that well. I used to sell these machines and in private the manufacturers would admit as much. But that’s a good point if you have a ton of records to clean and they’re in fairly good shape. And you can afford $600-$1700 on a record cleaning machine.
But if you are only getting a few records at a time, and can’t afford $600+ on a machine it’s best to know how to properly clean records - using a manual machine or no machine.
