This has to be the most awesome idea ever for a collaboration here on the UA-cams. Sweet Mia will be simply swimming in Malamutes! So, y'all get to working on that. I'll wait right here.
Sherpa definitely has a cousin in Long Island, New York. Her name is Misty, a rescue, mix beagle and jack Russell terrier. Misty loves watching Sherpa, Phil, Niko, Milo, Key, and Nook. She knows they are all her cousins.
I have a sensitive question for both Jamie & Jodi [hope I spelled the names correctly]. What is going to happen when the dogs die. Sorry for being blunt, but I've had many cats in my life, and rescued many more [just did my 43rd spay/neuter with the same vet] and pets leaving us is also a side of pet ownership that rarely gets talked about. Since both your channels are named after the dogs with sizeable subscribership, I've often wondered what your plans are. ♥ There is going to be world-wide mourning♥ Both of your dogs are integral parts of many people's daily lives. My personal experience has been that having a youngster to take care of in a time of grief is very helpful. When our daughter died, we were/are both retired, empty nesters with nothing driving our daily schedules. It was excruciating and is the only time I wished we had had more than one child. During other times of grief, both with our human and non-human loves, having a little one to take care of kept us going. Perhaps this is something you two could address in a video chat on a Sunday posting? Or over the picnic table the next time you're able to get the boys together. In a related vein, there could be a discussion of what to do with pet remains. I have 7 urns in my eyesight that I don't know what we're going to do with. Again, with our daughter, I found out a couple of things, it is illegal where we live to put pet remains with humans. Our daughter's cat died six weeks after she did. We had the remains cremated and literally in the dead of the night my husband may or may not have snuck into the cemetery the day after her footstone was placed and may or may not have sprinkled the cat's ashes with her. We did have a friend of the family with two young boys and a very large dead dog. We made a little plot for the dog on the edge of our wheat field, had a little ceremony and then a hot dog roast over a bonfire to lighten the load. Other farm dogs have been interred this way and some of the farm cats as well. Urns can pile up if you've had many pets. Then what do you do with them? What does your family do with them when you're gone. Alternatively, if you plant them, what if you move? Where do you do it if you don't own rural property? Is there a pet cemetery where you live?
Good morning, Jamie. ❤It is 8h16 in Cape Town. Thank you for anything that you are still going to share. Like music, Sherpa, the Malamute,😅, is good fo the soul. I appreciate it. Be Blessed. And you are always in our thoughts. ❤❤Through tears or laughter.
I was glad to hear that Sherpa will continue to be an "only" dog. When you have an older animal, it can be tempting to get a younger animal in anticipation of the pain that the older animal's death will cause. I have a grouchy 15-year-old cat and I want her last years to be good ones with no one eating her food, taking her favorite place on the back of the couch or waking her up from her endless series of naps. I hope that Sherpa has years of health and happiness ahead of him.
I love rewatching these videos. Sherpa was a beautiful soul that will be missed by millions. I love you fluffy boy. Enjoy your Heavenly home free from disease and pain. God bless you Jamie. 💕🐾
the two in my Avatar are Mother and Son Samoyeds, training him was so much easier because she was around and he mimicked her actions. But what killed me is he passed of cancer at 10, my father died 1 year to the day later, then I lost her a few months after my father. So in a short time, I lost 3 members of my family. Watching you guys has been helping me get over the loss of them, so thank you.
Sherpa may be 10 years of age, but he will always be a puppy at heart. He's got a puppy face, so could definitely pass for being a 'lil pup. We love you Sherpa & Jamie. Xxx
I am so glad that you decided not too get a puppy. Cause Sherpa’s nose would be knocked out of place. And with a rambunctious puppy they could hurt Sherpa not meaning too but they could. You have such a special bond with Sherpa and Sherpa is one in a million you wouldn’t want to hurt him. Sherpa could also give up and you would not want that. Sherpa has a huge fan base. America loves him and you Jamie. I wish my two huskies were like Sherpa. We love him he is so cute and adorable ❤❤❤❤❤🐾🐾🦋
It's hard to think of Sherpa getting older. I'm so glad he's doing well. He is a lovely puppy with the BEST personality ever. No puppies to annoy him in his final years!!! My opinion. Much love to the Sherpa fan family, Jamie, Sherpa, Key & Jodie. Oh and that daughter. :D
I would not share my treats or my human. He is so beautiful. I love watching Sherpa and Key together. They are true best buds. Thank you for sharing him with us. Take care.
Being in a place where I cannot have a dog, I have laughed, cried and loved Sherpa and your conservations with him. Thank you so much for sharing him!🥰🥰🥰
We love you Sherp. Old boy isn't it unfair how time passes us by so swiftly but you will not be replaced you talkative pup. Thank you James for sharing with us your joy because we feel it as well my friend across the pond 🇺🇸
Jamie doesn't need a puppy. Sherpa seems to be enough. They have a great connection. It might spoil things if they get a new addition. Sherpa, Sherpa, Sherpa!!! 🥰❤️🐕🐾😁🎅🌲❄️

Sherp is definitely not dumb. He's exceptionally brilliant i think. Plus he has all the family he needs with you and Sister Sarah and Key and Jodi. And especially Granny.
OMG, I've got my window open and the dog across the street heard Sherpa and started barking and howling and now ALL the dogs in the area are howling, lolol.
Just because he's turned 10 don't count the ol' boy out. He still has puppy in his eyes. Keep him fit and trim (watch those chicken balls Sherp) and he'll still be telling us stories for a long time to come. Bless you both.
Best decision I made. Got a puppy,Zoe in 2019. We lost our 13.5 year old boxer, Daisy October. Absolutely convinced quality and quantity of life improved due to Zoe.
Good day Jaime and Sherpa. Sherpa is like hold up, you only need one Sherpa in your life, lol. No need to get another one. I just love you Sherpa, you are so cute. Have a great day you both.

Sherpa says its you and me dad, thats all we need.

So happy to see that cute face and hear his deep voice again. Also, happy to keep watching the previous videos.
I agree about hearing his voice. What a chatty boy he was. And, knew his mind. He didn't hold back on answering. 😊❤
Thinking. Perhaps it's time for a new Dad if thinking about a new puppy. Sherpa is one in a billion; never to be replaced.
Hahaha
Sherpa is struggling to share dad with his human sister, imagine another dog😂
😂🙈
Just imagine him fighting to get all the chicken balls😂😂😂😂😂
@Trucker Jason i had to re- read this cause I didn't see "chicken"
@Trucker Jason Then Sherps stuffs them under his bed haha, hoping Jamie wont find his stash 🤣

Happy , chatty Sherpa ❤ Jamie he listened always well to your commands when required …. Such a sweet video…. Aroooooooooooo 🐾🐾
The most likely reason Sherpa wouldn't want a sibling is that he would have to share his treats and his chicken balls
And don't forget the van. Hahahaha
Awww Sherps don’t want a brother or sister. He wants you all to himself 😌😌💙🐾
Yep thats how we like it 😁
Agreed. He’s one and only.

Sherpa is a noble and spoiled. He can’t share anything! Shouldn’t have too!
Sherpa: "A puppy? There's not enough chicken balls in the world!"😯
Great response 😺
Jamie: You'd have to share treats and the van!
