Ground reality is we willingly abstain from voting... we did not boycott... and this movement have nothing to do with Naga political issues... we just want financial freedom so that we can get development compet with rest of the India...
And the reason why we took this step is that our honourable home minister promised us for a solution but he turned away from his promise..
This step was taken so that GOI will notice and look into our grievances...

Eastern Nagaland consists of 6 districts of Nagaland. The abstain of Lok sabha election occured after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and State government failed to fullfill the promise made to establish Frontier Nagaland territory which is proposed by Honourable Union Home minister Amit Shah.
Frontier Nagaland has a zero development with no road connectivity in most of the areas, no single railway, no single airport, no hospital, no college and university etc.
As a part of India, it is impossible to compete with the rest of the country with such lack of development.
If such development have reached the territory, those rebels would have surrendered to mighty India.

@@upward_onward The Ahoms were Hindus after they integrated with Indian culture and their empire ruled over the Naga tribes, The Naga tribes worship Nature, Hills and natural bodies which are not alien to Hindu culture , The practices of the tribes and the Hindus are a lot more similar than you think, the only 'alien concept' is Christianity, and the Cast system never really existed in the roots of Hinduism, the varna system was never made to discriminate but to distribute jobs but as time went on the system changes into the 'caste system' and thanks to the Mughal and British rule (plus economic disparities) the discrimination increased but after independence there has been a decline in decline especially after the start of 21st century

Central govt should replace the current govt of Nagaland, it is old fashioned and less favourable for the naga public, new seeds of changes and development , opportunities etc will natural sprout out, nagas have more capable, young, enthusiastic and visionary leaders ,the current govt are just ignorant of everything, if the central does itnot for the parties interest of both sides but for the actual naga citizens ,Nagaland have more potential to contribute more and uplift our loving country india on a step higher than it is ryt now, the ENPO has every right for their demands but also their mlas are not different from the other mlas of nagaland ,they share the same dining table, while the citizens are biting the dust, central govt should think wisely about this issue, a better nagaland with right leader ,who is genuine and corruption free or a divided nagaland which will be problem for many years
