It's not everyday that you see Larry David, Stephen Colbert, David Schwimmer and Jerry Seinfeld on the same show. From the fourth season's finale of "Curb Your Enthusiasm".
I mentioned him because it's a weird mix. "Seinfeld" and "Friends" were the main competitors in the 90s and the two most successful sitcoms ever. So here, it's like they're colliding.
There's Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, David Schwimmer, and Steven Colbert all in the same room! If you love laughing, you wouldn't survive the combination of their presences.
I'm not taking two photos. You ask someone for a photo, you get one photo. I'm not getting paid to take the photo. If I was getting paid to take a photo, I'd take two photos. But I'm doing this for free, so you get one photo. -something Larry David would probably say
@@samgeurdi6351 with old cameras, you had to pay to develop the whole roll (of film). So people usually don't want to 'waste' any photos. And of course for the purpose of the show, they need a silly argument for Larry to be cursed. :p
You should feel very very advanced, my friend. :) And yes, I too get taken by surprise when I see old episodes of an old show. So many little things we notice in hindsight. That's a good thing.
djguapo he did a interview and mentioned how he hates broadways and doing plays and was asked why. This clip was exactly why; but then again, what clip isnt?
@leizuoer Finally someone who knows what the 'eff they're talking about. I'm still kind of taken aback by how many times I'll run into some sort of mundane situation in my daily life and how it will relate to Seinfeld (and now Curb kind of). I know it's happened to you. Seinfeld was mass appeal to but done so really tastefully. I still watch those DVDs all the time. Anyway, take care bud.
Colbert brought the whammy down. The wickedly curled fingers added that little extra whammy, I felt. A normal whammy, Larry could maybe fight off. But the curled fingers, there's really no defense for that. That's a one-way ticket to whammy-town.
Haha Larrys just like me. I suck at taking pictures and other technical stuff. I always hold the camera wrong or the picture comes out bad so I avoid people when they ask me to take their picture by making an excuse.
The fourth-season finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm was originally broadcast in March of 2004. So even when your comment was originally posted, this scene was already 15 years old. It was filmed before the Colbert Report even existed.
@Illumirage that's spot on ! I've seen so many people who just rave about how great friends is and they haven't even watched seinfeld or CYU and haven't even heard of larry david. .damn ignorants !
@Werebull sometimes people type 'haha' on their comments to signify sarcasm, as in 'don't take this comment seriously'. there isn't really a good way to show sarcasm through text
Larry David is so talented. He does a good Bernie Sanders, but I didn't know he could do Biden so well too.
VERY TRUE
lol you really pissed off the Woke brigade.
Remember when Biden beat trump in the election?
Lol I love how quickly Jerry just abandoned him to his fate.
+EdMcStinko Lol, I love how he's a dick on other people's shows. Does a similar thing on Louie also. xD
I love how bad Jerry's acting is after 20 years in TV.
he's like sorry buddy I can't stick around for this
I love Jerry's reaction... It's so Seinfeld....
A Seinfeld moment.
I almost expected a freeze frame and the Seinfeld theme during that last shot.
He does do a great Seinfeld.
Larry looks like Uncle Junior from The Sopranos with those glasses🤣🤣
It's funny because there's a Sopranos episode in Season 5 where Junior has dementia and he's watching Curb and thinks Larry is him (And Jeff is Bobby)
What a Jew! Ha haha
He never had the makings of a Broadway performer
Hahahaha Spot On
Stephens cat voodoo thing was Soo unexpected but Larry's real fear made me laugh
The fact that the play actually worked out in the end was one of the most wholesome moments in Curb.
At the end Stephen was like "Called it!"
Love the smug face.
I think he cursed Larry. O.O
Stephen Colbert IS a weapon of mass destruction, he will put a hex on all of ya'll😂
I love how Colbert grabs back that cam
Colbert put the VooDoo on him damn!😂😂😂😂😂
Jeez David, help a guy out! Feed him a line or something.
Oh, so no photo?! kills me everytime 😂
"that's it, you're out...." like it was a huge project they were working on.
Every episode is great, never disappointed in Curb.
The Colbert Bump can work both ways. Too bad Larry David found this out too late.
***** lmfao
Two comedic geniuses at work! Two of my favorite guys! Hilarious!
Stephen colbert is a partisan hack.
One genius. Colbert is not a genius.
Who is here after this evening's Steven Colbert's late night show in 2020?
you....will....faiiiilllll....lol
I mentioned him because it's a weird mix. "Seinfeld" and "Friends" were the main competitors in the 90s and the two most successful sitcoms ever. So here, it's like they're colliding.
Worlds are colliding
Jerry is disgusted lol, he just walks out... hilarious!
There's Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, David Schwimmer, and Steven Colbert all in the same room! If you love laughing, you wouldn't survive the combination of their presences.
Lol, wow, I remember watching this on HBO when it first aired, somehow I didn't realize that it was Colbert.
He wasn't known at the time. Heck, he didn't break into mass celebrity till he got his own show.
@Bill Blass Yup. Colbert Report started in 2005.
That guy put the double whammy on LD !
Or just take two pictures. I love that the solution is so simple yet he is STILL holding a petty grudge the second time he sees Larry lmao
Hahaha WOW... I can honestly say I never thought Colbert would have one of the best CYE line deliveries of all time.
this scene is so fucking funny...steve colbert is brilliant in this hahahah
That’s the funniest, I’ve ever seen, Stevie; can you believe it after decades of being on television that’s the funniest he’s ever been
then it comes the best standup i ever seen! X
Love this. Never knew it was Colbert...
You're so right! Providing that you have never seen Curb your enthusiasm of course...
CORRECTION: Larry meets the CHARACTER played by Stephen Colbert. There's a difference.
slap n pop I thought the same thing. Huge difference. Misleading title.
Hardly - Larry David is obviously paying a fictional version of himself and so is Colbert.
YOU NAILED IT
You mean, the character Larry David played by the actor Larry David meets the character Stephen Colbert played by the actor Stephen Colbert.
torlock43 That’s not Stephen Colbert though, right? At one point the woman he’s with calls him John
So *that's* where this GIF is from!
I love these arguments
Colbert is awesome
is this scene where the legendary jerryseinfeld.gif comes from?
What legendary seinfeld gif?
actualy two of them
Yes
no, its actually just a very bizarr coincidence.
The best work of Colbert career.
why couldnt he just take two photos
Pre-digital photos
Andrew Tucker Your comment made no sense
I'm not taking two photos. You ask someone for a photo, you get one photo. I'm not getting paid to take the photo. If I was getting paid to take a photo, I'd take two photos. But I'm doing this for free, so you get one photo.
-something Larry David would probably say
cos its a show

Now its 2019 and I feel so very, very, very old.
You should feel very very advanced, my friend. :)

2020 now...
@@anthonylee5982 2021 checking in
and thats your new late night host ladies and gentlemen
Another priceless detail is the way he turns his head when he leaves.
The sinister music starting up each time colbert makes his threatening pose is hysterical
This is one of the greatest and most absurd moments on television.
Having Stephen Colbert CURSE me to failure would be a highlight of my career
So no photo? So you're out?
ahahaha
Love it when he curses him....LOL!
Near the end when Stephen says "you will fail," looked exactly like Andy Bernard.
"YOU WILL FAIIILLL!!!!" lol
Of course, Stephen chooses the name Jon for the verbally abusive husband 😏
LOL. I never knew Seinfeld was on Curbed before they did the season with the Seinfeld reunion show.
"You're CUNTstantly undermining every decision I've made on this trip"
Stephen Colbert puts such emphasis into the word! xD
That's Maddie Corman with Stephen Colbert. Love her! She also played the wife of Johnny Trinno in Artie Lange's "Beer League."
OMG this was hilarious
David Schwimmer is an excellent actor.
HaHa, nice friend Jerry is. He just bails out when his buddy fails on stage. Those glasses Larry has on are so KILLER.
Now, that made me laugh.
Good lock with Fish in the Dark, hopefully Colbert won't be there, lol.
djguapo he did a interview and mentioned how he hates broadways and doing plays and was asked why. This clip was exactly why; but then again, what clip isnt?
Epic
Lmao too good
"That's the question"
@leizuoer

AHAHHAHA love colbert! never trust anyone that doesnt LAUGH!
Why is Larry ALWAYS so difficult? Lol
"Oh so you're out? that's it?" lol
"you will FAILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"
2:29 Priceless
“If you saw what I see” LMFAO
hahahahahahah amazing!
haha Jerry's face
love jerry at the end! "im out"
colbert! working the magic. colbert. [rob schneidder voice]
I love the expression on Cheryl's face at 1:35. She has this look on her face that says "Wtf is this man high or something?
Colbert needs to be committed, LOL!
every day. everyday means commonplace.
Stephen Colbert brings the ruckus in this scene
Colbert brought the whammy down. The wickedly curled fingers added that little extra whammy, I felt. A normal whammy, Larry could maybe fight off. But the curled fingers, there's really no defense for that. That's a one-way ticket to whammy-town.
Painful, HILARIOUS!
Just take two pics, lmao
Colbert is a genius.
I...fucking LOVE .... Stephen Colbert.....and Lary, mother fucking , Davis
"Thats the question! What?"
Colbert using the gypsy magic of his people on Larry.
Haha Larrys just like me. I suck at taking pictures and other technical stuff. I always hold the camera wrong or the picture comes out bad so I avoid people when they ask me to take their picture by making an excuse.
Two of the funniest people in America right here.
I like that Colbert played himself
ohhh Colbert, how I love you 💕
The musical cue at 1:25 reminds me a lot of Khan's theme from Star Trek II.
WOW Steven Colbert looks so much younger in this 3-yr old clip!
The fourth-season finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm was originally broadcast in March of 2004. So even when your comment was originally posted, this scene was already 15 years old. It was filmed before the Colbert Report even existed.

ohh that's where that gif is from. 2:29

Schwimmer offered no bail out...LOL
2:32 Jerry's famous, "im done"
yeah. all the little quirks. for example at 0:37, he scratches his head showing how he's about to blow lol.
Good luck!
Lol jerry
@Werebull sometimes people type 'haha' on their comments to signify sarcasm, as in 'don't take this comment seriously'. there isn't really a good way to show sarcasm through text
This is the perfect opposite of the Colbert bump.
On a happier note, LD is finally back. Tomorrow night, at last.
Ahh so this is where that Seinfield gif comes from...
you again...the guy who wouldn't!
Steven has enormous hands.
Schwimmer should have picked him up there. When it became clear he forgot the line, all he had to do was finish it for him.
