Bolen to Annual Standdown Attendees: Keep Safety Priority One

NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen told attendees at the 18th annual Bombardier Safety Standdown in Wichita, KS, that while business aviation’s safety record is excellent, it is not perfect and everyone in the industry should continue striving to improve it further. “As part of my responsibilities at NBAA, I go around country advocating for business aviation, telling people who we are and why we are important,” Bolen told attendees. “A key part of that story always begins with our commitment to safety. We have an excellent record, but it is not perfect. Because it is not perfect, we do events like this.”
