Amethyst/Steel player here, I'm running a variant that focuses on getting lore quickly and using the Madam Mim engine to make it happen. I agree Madam Mim - Fox is really strong for what it's worth. It can come in and combo w/ Merlin - Rabbit/Goat easily and get a kill in the same turn. Can also help save something on board after it's quested like Arthur - Wiz, Apprentice, which could also combo w/ Merlin - Rabbit/Goat, so you pick up Merlin from Arthur's effect and pick up Arthur with MM - Fox's effect, draw one card w/3 lore with Rabbit, or get 4 lore with Goat; come in with 4 power and rush with MM - Fox for only 3 ink and this can happen as early as Turn 5. I think if they limited it to 2, that would be a little more fair. That would hurt my deck some, but it's a compromise I feel is worth making for the betterment of the game overall.
What do you think of Amber/Emerald vs Amber/Ruby Mufasa now that we’ve seen some cards from Inklands? I feel like 2-drop Ursula and Kit Cloudkicker might be enough to shift the scales in favor of the former
Great video, I can finally understand what's been happening with the meta of Lorcana this past expansion, any advice on which cards to get while waiting for Into the inklands? Here in LATAM we are getting the release of the three expansions in the span of a month and it's just an overwhelming quantity of cards to try by myself lol

I don't think outright banning cards this early in the games life is necessary or even wanted, maybe a restricted list could work? Meaning if Fox and Tremaine are on the list, you can only play one of them in your deck, or perhaps if the card is on the list, you can play 2 copies at max...
Emerald in general could probably do better if A Whole New World didn't hard kill all discard decks for free. The Meta just won't ever be healthy with Amethyst being the way it is currently and the other two best decks cheating out A Whole New World. Here's hoping set 3 will change that, but It's getting very hard imagining the rich won't just get richer
I really want to build and play Amethyst/Sapphire. I notice it's a combination that very few talk about. Why is it so unpopular? And please don't just say it's bad, that's not helpful haha. If it's bad, what makes it bad when Amethyst is so prevalent?
I think it has some life to it, but I’m not certain the inks compliment each other that well tbh. And you really down on overall removal which doesn’t help either
@@TheForbiddenMountain yeah, it seems like the amethyst/sapphire options for removal are exert, support, and rush all coming together. But I'm not sure even this ink combo can play enough cards yet to make that a reliable way to deal with every threat. It won't stop me from trying though! 😅
It's actually really good. Alphos made a video on it recently. It loses to agro and isn't great against Ruby, which is why you probably don't see it much.

First two format's are tier zero formats. Good job ravensburger. Pretty much proves they don't test gameplay.
Steel Amy aggro beats most popular decks. Buddy is running in second place on pixel with it at a 67% win rate.
Just banning mim fox would go a long way. Don’t need to ban them all right away.
