So I’ve owned the sand 4 for 6 months now and love it. So many functional options and keeps you bone dry and warm in inclement weather . I’m starting to become a big Revit fanboy . Oozes Quality.
I like these pants a lot more than the sand 3 pants, I never could get them to fit properly. Do you know if the sand 4 pant can zip up to the sand 3 jacket?
Do you have images/video of person wearing just rain/termal lining. From what I understand both can be weared on it's own. If so, that's a huge plus, maybe even worth upgrading from Sand 3.
At the moment, we don't have those images on hand. However, the rain liner is finished on the outside, and though there are a few taped seams still visible, it can be worn separately. The waterproof barrier also uses a special stretch fabric so that it can also be worn on the outside of the jacket if there is not enough time to button it in. Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the new Revit jacket?
@@Championhelmets Wow, if liner can be worn both separately and over the jacket, that's a huge plus in my eyes. That feature alone might be enough reason to replace my Sand 3 jacket. Can't wait for it to hit the store so I can try it out.
@@svakak We were also impressed when Revit first told us about the rain barrier options, especially while streamlining the fastening process. Thanks for the reply! If you find you have any further questions, we're always happy to help
@@svakak I actually wear the rain liner outside to keep the whole shell dry. Just remove liner and dry then stow it back in the jacket or reinstall liner love love love the sand 4 it keeps me warm and cool on my daily commute
Good review but the color schemes this year are a mistake. try washing white, they got rid of the blue and added 3 white ,ill probably go with Valparaiso Alpine stars
Revit often have a penchant for introducing a number of silver colors, mainly for visibility, though that may be a concern on an adventure jacket. Nonetheless, they have kept the black version and added a brown camo. Thanks for the comment! Besides the colors, what are your thoughts on the Sand 4?

Strange to compare to Dainese carve master its a completely different garment with fixed membrane for touring rather than adventure riding , surely a comparison with rst adventure x or ranger or Held hakuna halvarsons mora etc would be more realistic lack of product knowledge from dealers make choosing stuff so hard
I like the new rain liner and front vents, but this has too many zippers and snaps. My original sand jacket and pants used velcro and I much prefer that for ease of access. Too much nonsense on this combo. And don't ride with a camouflage jacket, that's just dumb!
Thanks for letting us know your thoughts on the jacket, we appreciate it! Though Velcro is quick, the main reason Revit have switched away from it was to improve the jacket material's durability and to prevent snagging. If you find you have any questions, we're always happy to help
Yeah well camo is an option, it’s not like you have to buy that color! If you don’t like zippers and want Velcro Go buy something else. I personally love the duel layer zippers as opposed to the Velcro. To reach their own. Plenty of choices out there.
@@madcannagrow2833 Yep. Velcro wears out. Not to mention snags on your helmet liner, gloves, etc. etc. The only thing Velco holds is lint and dog hair!😁 I'll take snaps over Velcro every time.
Though styling can come down to personal taste, the Sand 3 did also have its charm. Thanks for the comment! Styling aside though, what are your thoughts on the new Sand 4?

Have you ever use h2 o membrane over the Jacket ? Does make more sense? In the rain days you don’t get the jacket wet outside?
Hi, about the pants. Are they really for hot weathers? I'm living in Brazil, and here the summer times are really hot (30 - 35Cº)
Is the new Rev'it Sand 4 jacket a better choice than the previous generation Klim Carlsbad jacket?
Any issue connecting the sand 4 pants to the Vertical jacket?

I welcome the zippers and hate Velcro. They certainly cannot please everyone with every jacket.
@@397coney7 yea Velcro starts to get fuzzy and stops gripping as hard over time.

The liners are held in with 6 snaps each. Not two.
Wow, they killed the style. The Sand 3 is one of the most beautiful jackets, the new one is horrible.

@@Championhelmets I think the front ventilation is more efficient, a wider intake will allow better airflow.
