I like that Thomas Vinterberg is surrounded by books, while James Gray has that popcorn machine and projector screen.

Great job by James Gray. I don’t think I have ever seen a better interviewer than him. -Curious, interested, interesting, articulated and relaxed. I didn’t know of him before this interview, but now I’m curious to see what his films are like.

Wonderful, profound, and fun conversation! I adored hearing Thomas Vinterberg mention his argument with Lars von Trier about directing actors to James Gray.

Great movie and great interview and well organized questions. He is a wonderful director, I've seen the Hunt and the Far from the Madding Crowd, the Far from the Madding Crowd is also made mesmerizing me so much and also my Mum too, this is her favourite movie btw. When he talked about his daughter loss my heart just broke and made me cry. It seemed he talked about her so lovely and he loved his daughter so much he knew her so well, he knew all of her secrets. They had a good bond together just amazing father and daughter relationship. He must be a wonderful father. He's a gorgeous Man inside and out just love his personality he's so funny, cool and down-to earth. I've noticed earlier that he smiles a lot in every interview and that is just so sweet. He's a smiling person. I love that. He's full of passion and love to his work and to his family and actors, very great human being. This movie about the love, the drink, being drunk and finding each other and of course the loss, finding out where is the limit we have to stop drinking, which level. Just so great. This movie is so special to me. I've watched this many times so far and I'm always a part of a new experience.

Vinterberg defines faith almost word for word as St. Paul does. I wonder whether this is conscious or intuitive... I hope he finds faith and sees his daughter again.
