Unclogging And Moving Beaver Rack Back Into Place

- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Until drought conditions get better this is going to be my last time on clogging this location. Thanks for watching
Wherever you go and whatever you do,we will be watching!
Much love from pennswoods . Thank you for your content !
Good content brilliant
I hope the drought ends very soon for your area.
That is used to catch common snapping turtles
This man has been out here for years doing the work BY HAND that most state departments will never even consider doing with machinery. Post, you've done so much to entertain us all, but, most of all, you're constantly working to keep water and roadways in their best conditions. Hats off to you.
Well said. Hes clearly a good man.
I bet his parents raised him well.👍🏻👏🏼
@@bjamin0075 I bet he got raised by beavers 😂
Not only that but he has also inspired others to maintain their local drains too, saving yet more waterways!
Loved the "Making Of" mini documentary at the end. Gave a good behind-the-scenes vibe.
I know I tell you this a lot, but your strength always amazes me. Every time you go moving something really heavy it looks so easy.
Thanks for the new angle on the trash rack - I had no idea it was as substantial as it is now that I can see how it is constructed. Have a great weekend!
I thought I was metal. I was surprised to see that it was made of wood.
It's encouraging to see what one man's strength, patience and tenacity can accomplish! Who needs an excavator??!!
I love how he said it has like 1ft of mud on it so it won't be easy and then immediately tried to move it back into place. (Haven't finished watching but i assume he does get it moved)
i know who! an idiot with an excavator HAHAHAHAH
Great job thanks. Chris from England
great to see a second set of feet. good to know if anything happens you got someone to help you.
I noticed that as well! Had to review it a few times, like it was an anomaly.
Nicely done Post! Your the only person that knows how to properly unclog culverts and sewer drains! Your a remarkable person with an amazing talent to help when needed! Thanks very much!!
I don't think i seen him doing the sewage drains i might have though and just forgot can't remember
Every time I watch one of your videos my faith in humanity is a little bit restored. People talk about helping the planet, you don’t just talk you DO and you EDUCATE. Thank you for everything you do!
Too bad the drought. I know whatever videos you decide to do is worth watching. Helping out with my PTSD quite nicely.
I guess industriousness like this is why there is chain of home improvement/DIY stores in my area (Pittsburgh/ Western Pa.) named "Busy Beaver."
And, just like in almost every other comment I leave, Post, let me tell you what a beautiful part of the country you live in...simply gorgeous, even under drought conditions.
What a clog. Should've known the beavers would reclog the culvert. Beavers are much smarter than we thought. Great job Postie. Hope you get some rain soon.
The reason that the beavers move so quickly to block it was that beavers operate based off of sound. Their instinct is to try and stop the sound of running water so when they start to hear running water in their pond/lake they go into panic mode and try to stop the sound by any means necessary. There is a national park in Quebec where they had a huge beaver problem and they were able to manage their beaver population by using water resistance radios to play the sound of running water (loudly) in the areas of the lake where the park didn't care about a dam being built and they discovered that when they did that the beaver would focus all of their efforts on the radio spots and not on the other areas of the lake.
They will even build on land if you do that supposedly.
Now that's using common sense. Took the humans long enough to get it ❤️😍❤️
Could be a good idea for a dam seen as so many human made ones have failed 🤣
How yall like this man. He does stuff this city don't do and gives it his best. Thanks Post 10. Love these kinds of videos. You go beyond to help and it's amazing.
I'm imagining the beavers one day hearing his yell to sync the cameras and just thinking "not this guy again!"
Hey post, we understand .... we are having less rain here in Michigan, too......but, we're handling it...stay safe..enjoy the rest of summer.....clogging season will return, wait and see...take care
The meat and hook is most likely used to catch common snapping turtles
Im watching this again while an atmospheric river has been raging for the 4 days and my patio looks like a pond. I needed this.
Cool that you re-positioned the rack. Love it! Keep it up.
“Alright, let’s do this… whooorp!!!“ 😆 The coolest guy on the World Wide Web. Content 2nd to none.
That was impressive moving the grate and clearing it out. Nice viewing again
I watch a few ppl clear beaver dams and convert but you sir have a much different dedication to your work. Thanks for sharing.
it's always a peaceful and relaxing day when Post drops another great video .... keep up the great work
LOL, around 19:34, you sure stopped me in my tracks when you suddenly had 3 feet! 😆
I’d give anything to be able to accompany you for a day. It would be so satisfying to immediately see the progress of your labor.
Post 10, auction a day with you highest bidder wins.
Plus, great company! :) Fresh air, take a good lunch, nice day!
I was cheering you on from Plymouth England I'm so glad you managed to move it after all this time 😊 well done post 10
Thanks, post, these trash racks are the way to go! I’m no longer a beaver deceiver believer
I love the different views you're giving us lately. Thank you, Sir! 😀
Great job for moving that grate. I was thinking that you couldn't. But you were that little train going up that hill. Thank you for what you do.
I hope the relevant authorities see your videos and appreciate what you do for them.
Hopefully take in your advice too, you're doing a great job Post.
well you do a really good job unblocking all these culverts I hope the DOT appreciate the work that you o for them you are a very kind young man.....I do love watching your videos I always look out for the new ones anyway thanks xxxx debbie from UK xxxxxx
"Killer beaver music playing in background as you dismantle the dam!" LOL
Post10, the work you do is amazing, and all for the love of doing it. It's obvious to see you have got a very good soul. Thank you for the many video's I have watched. I tip my hat to you sir.
Thanks for the update and the Spy cam @ 27:20. 😂👍🏻 Be safe out there with the black bears you don’t want to go out smelling like a dumpster….
Another great video! Thank you. The difference between before and after is absolutely amazing!
Think that trash rack should be installed with all the culverts. Its a great design!!
The double shadows make me happy, great video.
Thanks for the amazing content Post & Ghost 😉👍
Here in the UK we're heading for a drought also. Unfortunately the people in charge of water usage haven't acted soon enough and there's still people filling up temporary swimming pools.
It would be nice to have some light rain followed by a good thunderstorm, then the ground will hold some water.
Stay safe and hydrated. 😃👍
The UK water companies are also still dumping most raw sewage into the waterways and the sea. Parliament promised to end it and when people stopped looking they didn't stop the companies.
glad to see your friend is still with you . cool shoes .
With weather so dry, the beavers are even more motivated to save what water they can.
Peaceful and relaxing. Thank you.
I was thinking during this video's first half, "Hmmm... I haven't seen any Ghosts on this channel in a while!? 🤔", and then this third foot appeared at 19:31 ! 😂😉
Was that a ghost10 goodness easter egg at the end? What a treat! Thanks so much for sharing the ghost POV, and ghost thanks so much for sharing him with us! He's a treasure.
Where is it? Lol
@@mariannerichard4001 All the way at the very end, there's some footage shot of post from a different angle that's clearly handheld, and you can see his camera and tripod set up. I'm assuming that's ghost's footage.
Oooh ya!!! Thanks!
Fun video! I like this camera angle because you can see all the stuff going all the way through the pipe.
Great video again with the feet of Ghost ;-) and some extra footage at the end, great.
I figured, that was cemented to the bottom. That's neat you was able to clear it. Really well.
Great episode. That was a lot of work! Thank you.
Hi Post, the potato rake would work really well with some of mud and stick removal. Love what you do, from England
You r a hard working, persistence man.. you do a great job…
Post 10, half human, half machine 😀 such a pleasure to see your videos and hear your comments. Thank you so much and greetings from The Netherlands
Wow those rascals are fast. Thank you @post 10 for a new vid. I clicked so fast...
THANKS for posting your videos. always fascinating to watch.
Great video with nice work on the beaver grate! (Rake was sad about missing out on all the action. 🥺)
Great video Post! The new filming angles are great. I thought the rack would be heavier until you said and showed otherwise. I bet your shirt dried out pretty quick.
Just placed an order for a shirt and sticker! Keep up the good work man!
Beaver shouts " hey fella put that stuff back I own the rack"
Enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work 👍
I wonder if Beavers don't actually mind the sound of rushing water, and if instead it triggers the damming response because rushing water typically means a spot easy to dam and control the water flow, or a failure in a dam that needs immediate repair.
What a great job you do! As always! 🥰
I love your vids
ahh the trash rack, time to break out the big tall boots
Good job moving the rack into a better position!
Wow lol sometimes I forget you're on earth where there's other people... I just get so lost in your explorations.
Meat on a string is a great fish attractant. It brings more in so that fishermen have a better chance of catching them. 🎣
I live in a constant state of drought so I’m used to it if I want water I’ll just go to a lake and do some kayaking but you guys are used to a lot of water so it’s a little more devastating to you to see things dry up, but good video I’m glad you lifted that grate and cleaned it must’ve been satisfying
Its less about people being affect and more about our forrests not being particularly drought tollerant, and if they dry out too much they could become a wildfire risk. Normally we get so much rain that everything is throughly soaked and in some stage of rotting/punkyness within a year of falling on the ground that wildfires basically never start. (Note that in the early spring we do have burn bans to cover the period between snow melting and plants properly greening and hydrating because that is a period of risk for wildfires / grass fires)
Although this insane heat wave just sucks for everyone in involved, 91F plus 80-90% humidity= 100+ feels like temps of death. (I much prefer subzero temps to litteral hell)
Good job.
Great video!
Thanks Post!
👍👍👍👊😎
I can’t believe they did that in 3 days!!! Natures little damn builders👍
super satisfying, good on you for fixing that even when you didn't need to. glad everywhere BUT my town (lol but like actually it's getting bad really) got some nice rain yesterday, upper charles is barely going now
beautiful day, beautiful spot, wish i was there too. have been house bound since july 3 and going stir-crazy! lol thanks for the video!
Kudos on the rack....great work!
19:30 Post's third leg makes an appearance. I knew this guy had to be gifted; so endowed it has its own shoe!
Loved the camera angle, great job!
Great upload thanks post 👍🏻
Great work!!
Great video...like always. Got my shirt and sticker from your shop recently too. 🤘🏻
Post your videos should be used as educational material. You're so very knowledgeable. 🤗💖
Buen trabajo como siempre,un saludo-
Interesting... I didn't know beavers could weld! They made a nice trash rack.
You should have titled this vid “determination “. Great job.
Great job unclogging as always! As for the baited line, I'd guess catfish is the goal. I've never seen someone only put out one line for them though.
Post, you sir are a machine. I love to watch you make magic! Thanks😀
I think you’re posts are so soothing. Just nice to see someone doing something he obviously enjoys and helps where he can. Usually in a beautiful place.
More power to you. Wish the world had more Post 10’s.
you can be one of them :)
Good job, well done, post 10. I think I have watched every video you have ever made, and loved them all, and learned so much. I appreciate you. Merry Ann from Minnesota
FINALLY! YOU MOVED THE TRASH RACK!
@1:16 "You sound like a big choo-choo train" - Bobby Boucher, Waterboy
Dept? Guess you mean depth! I’m joking! Good job, that rack looked heavy, at least it’s now ready for the next big rainfall, keep up the good work, I’m enjoying the second camera angle too.
I love this site. It’s so beautiful.
Oh wow, Post. We've all been hoping for that to be fixed for *awhile*. Great video, awesome payout!
You always do a good job 👏
Another great vid, God bless post
You did a terrific job clearing and re-seating the grate, thanks a lot! (Also, very glad to see you wearing gloves, - something I wish you did every time - although you tookd them off too soon, methinks!)
From the lloks of tthe bottom of the rack when you cleared it you were probably taking apart the structure of a old beaver dam from before the grate was put in
Once again another great video. These road crews should learn that it’s not always necessary to use expensive machinery used on clogs a few men can handle.
Your videos are fun to watch
Good and faithful servant.
👍👍👍 Top clip! Greetz from germany
Great camera angle
Great you move the trash rack 😍😍😍
