    when i create clipping mask the gradients dont apply to text. i have gradient with multiple color stops but only one or two colors seem to apply

      Hello!
      For Photoshop: go to Layer Style (double click on your text in Layers - choose Gradient Overlay (left list) - change the gradient in the right window
      For Illustrator: Type - Create Outlines - Pathfinder - Unite - apply Gradient

      @@saintdesign.I am not talking about gradient overlay. I am talking about the gradient colours in gradient map. Only one or two colours are been applied when I clip it to my mart object

      @@omesanni I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand what the problem is in your situation. my only rule for applying gradient maps to text in photoshop is to do it from Gradient Overlay - applying default (just press okay) - double click to Gradient Overlay in the Layers (below text is effect and gradient overlay) and then you can see small gradient window (also click to arrange). Just applying gradient map to your text won't work - you need to apply Gradient Overlay. I really hope it will help
