If Third Axiom was enhancable, it would probably run circles around this, and that's got plenty of strong PVP perks on it.
Bygones is the true "I have 2 full time jobs and 5 kids" rifle, so of course it's going to be strong. And yes that logic makes perfect sense, don't question it.
Not on the same slot, but syncopation is also soo good. Best adaptive after bygones imo

First one I rolled from the quest drops had a range masterwork, stats for all, and voltshot on it. Pretty sweet for PvE content honestly. The recoil direction feels pretty crummy though.
Keep that roll, it's unique. Voltshot isn't in the perk pool and only drops on this pulse from Eido. (Probably because they were coding the quests/weapons long before they finished the new perks so they probably put Voltshot as a placeholder)
Syncopation for consistency/3v3s, Bygones for killstreaks/6v6.
Energy slot would have to be the Iron Banner solar pulse. Iron Grip and Golden Tricorn, that thing doesn’t move.

The voltshot perk is solid I like it much more than corrasion (sp) which i want to like but every time I use it I stick it back in ny vault to decide if i am going to shred it because blech it is dog shit!!!
