    Nothing this guy said is alien to us European, this part of the world has a long history of war and violence, maybe that’s why we know the danger of extreme patriotism and politicians that have all the answers. Civilization is a thin layer and keeping it in tact is a constant battle. But extreme politicians and growing inequality is a dangerous cocktail!

    I think that one of the biggest problems with the 2 party system is that it is much easier to try to poke holes in your opponents position (regardless if those problems actuary exist or if its just a strawman) than to properly explain your own position. So if you only have one opponent than the smart money is on shit flinging, but if you have to compete with 5 or 6 opponents than building up your own position is worth your time.

There are no exact levels for what qualifies as a bribe. It can be material benefits such as money, gifts, trips or discounts. As a Norwegian Sweden is confusing at times. They do the right thing, then don't follow up. Let in loads of imigrants etc, and let them live in poverty ? No system in place to give education or jobs? I dont know how I would have done it different and I have no awnser. Its the same in Norway. We just take less people. in a panic situation like with Ukraine, fair you cant plan for it. But the wealth of Scandinavia should be enough to keep kids out of Crime because of lack of food or a place to live. Yet we seem unwilling to spend it. As for USA ? I have no idea. Education is a problem, as it should be free all over the world. But other than that they all seem like nice people. I try not to look at USA as what we see in movies. But Racism is still an issue. Sadly. Correct me if I am wrong. Poverty (Broke/homeless people have to eat and live. hence crime). Apart from that they are decent people that try to do the best they can. And if shit happens. The best friend you can have as a nation. They proved it in WW2 that its your best friend or your worst enemy. Not the Government. But the people

      It’s interesting to see how Sweden was reacting to the way Denmark (finally) was acting towards the refugees from the Middle East, making demands and refusing those who comitted a crime the right to stay in the country and only allowing a limited number the right to stay. Only a few years later Sweden opens their borders to anyone who wish to come and stay.
      The result? Sweden is the leading country in Europe when it comes to gun-inflicted killings!
      Sweden is in serious problems and their government need to wake up and start acting.
      Don’t take this wrong. I really wish that anyone no matter origen or race should have a chance, but if they don’t know how to behave, then it’s back to where they came from. But if they’ll respect the laws there’s a big chance to make life better.

  • @nelenesmithSA

    The problem in America is not guns..it's mental health..people who commit atrocities all have unresolved mental health issues. Take away guns and knives or something else will be used instead..like trucks or busses.. If the nation is mentally taken care of you would see less mass casualties. I also think that it makes sense that you would see more things happening in America because it is just so big..I mean, each state is almost like a country on it's own. So bigger country = more likely to have more incidents. Other large nations have disarmed their citizens and a lot of those people are now at the mercy of their communist leaders since their people can't defend themselves now..

    • @claregallagher8550
      @claregallagher8550 Рік тому +1

      The statement that "it is not guns, it is mental health", is such a non argument, and being honest, always sounds like an excuse not to change. If people with mental health issues don't have guns, they can't shoot people. Americans don't seem to understand that this statement is an argument for more gun control. If people are properly assessed for access and owning a gun, and conditions around storage and licences are required, those with mental health issues are far less likely to get them. Then they can't shoot anyone!! You saying they will find something else is so ridiculous to the rest of the world. Look up world statistics of the US compared to other countries in the rest of the world, who pretty much all have gun control, and you will see that there are not mass knife attacks or mass cars used to kill people. The US is even higher in knife crime than a lot of other countries, including the UK, which Trump tried to lie about. You need to do some researching to look at world indexes and where the US sits in these. World Population Reviews and Indexes are all reported as 'per capita', so the fact that you are a bigger country with more people is irrelevant to these statistics.
      Your statement that "other large nations have disarmed their citizens and a lot are at the mercy of the communist leaders", really suggests that you have little understanding of the rest of the world outside the US. There are literally only one or two countries in the world that are communist out of about 195 countries. Most countries in the rest of the developed world have democratic systems, with parties of both right and left leaning politics. They all have regular elections every few years, just like in the US. People vote in a government by majority, and if they become unhappy with them, will then vote them out at the next election. We do not need guns to defend ourselves against the government as we have democracy that works. The fact that Americans think they need guns so they can defend themselves against their government is so wildly laughable, and suggests you are still in 1776 when your constitution was written. You do know the army and other forces have way more fire power than citizens, I mean what are you all going to do against tanks and drones if you want to overturn your government?? If democracy works, you do not need to arm yourself.
      I would suggest that it might help you to really look into what it is like to live outside of the US, how you are compared to the rest of the world and gain some perspective that is not through just a US lens. I understand that the US is a young country of only about 300 years, but consider that the rest of the world is 000's of years old, and has a lot of history and experience in democracy. We also have media that gives us relatively unbiased world news every day along with news from our own country, and so we all know about other countries and what is happening in them, as it is not focused only on internal matters. This helps us understand and have a perspective of our own countries in the context of the world.
