I love The Passion Translation. I had the pleasure of having Brian speak on our daily prayer call in November 2021. It's one of my favorite translations. I starting hearing it being quoted by Pastors and Ministers who I study under. As I begin to read from The Passion Bible myself it began to move inside of me. I introduced it to the people on my prayer call as one of the bibles we gleam from and use to hear and learn from the Lord. It has helped us experience the love of God so much more. I love Brian Simmons and The Passion Translation. We hear the passionate expression of God's love and I read from it often including today!! When I am unsettled or in need of direction I often read from this translation because it helps me know with ease that God is with me and loves me so much. He has all the answers that I need and he expect me to be Victorious in all situations.

Oh The Passion Translation is my go to! I promote it everywhere I go! It's written by the heart of God I believe. It's truly a beautiful translation that Brian put years of research and tireless work into.

Dr. Brian and Candice Simmons are my favorite pastors! I don’t live in their state and so I travel to see them. I’ve been on their Israel tour, attended their cruises and Cabo ministry. I also signed up for Dr. Simmons on-line courses! (The Best) I love this couple.

I love the Passion Translation. It facilitates Union Life with the Living Christ. I read it next to the NKJV, or New American Standard. This combination will work very well for you.

Yes I do agree we need to be discerning in all things including UA-cam content. Therefore the information we seek should be objective fact that is biblically sound when compared to the Bible translations that are most closely aligned with the original text to ensure accuracy, not interpretation. For those who struggle with understanding, learning to use an inter linear Bible can assist.
The criticisms on the “translation” are not UA-cam influencers, but biblical scholars and sound theologians. Some of these theologians are charismatic, not solely cessationists, which yes Brian you said “friends,” but if we are of the same faith ought we not say “brothers and sisters in Christ”? The reason I bring this up is that criticisms have pointed out the similarities between the TPT leading to a false gospel similarly to the likings of Joseph Smith and Mormonism.
Rather than creating content solely to promote the use of any one translation, as pastors should you not encourage brothers and sisters to be like the Bereans and “test the spirits” discerning what is from God? We are called to speak truth in love and therefore I implore you all as pastors, and all reading this, to remove emotions and focus on the objective facts to glean the wisdom and discernment from the true Word of God. KJV, NASB, ESV, and CSB are all sound translations.

I am not worried about it only because we know that it is the Holy Spirit that reveals the truth to one's heart and saves.
Acts 2.47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

How do you “test the spirits” to know it is of God (the Holy Spirit) without holding against the objective Word of God?

    It’s a good book. But it’s not a bible. It’s Brian’s own words

It can be to you what you want. The bible says according to your faith be it unto you. It's God word Translated for this day in time. You should read Brian's commentary and FAQ's and it will make sense. Ease up and ask God to answer your concerns instead of writing it off as just a book. The world is changing and on translation is not always the best one to meet everyone where they are at.

@@user-vq1vk5nc6y The Bible is the Word of God, not what we want. The world is changing, but God is unchanging as is His Word.
I would also encourage you to research the “FAQs” validity rather than just accept them as truth.
