for some less obvious time saves (I was watching at 2x speed so it may not be completely accurate) if you're good enough just use keyboard for combat, this is because it takes a second for options to be useable after swapping from slot 1 to the slot you're hovering over when using a mouse. The only time mouse should be used for combat is for ball, where you should still be mashing spacebar as well. if instead of jumping when you press tab to agro cancel you just leave the dash running and immedeately press tab to exit the menu to continue your dash while doing shrink skip (the part where you use saves to go backwards through the castle) there's a decently simple jump to skip the pillar. Walk forward while standing on the far right of the rubble until you see the top of the statue's shoulder. Afterwards dash off the left side. If done correctly you should land on the otherside. If you fall into the water it loses time, but otherwise it's a few second time save. If you see this, I hope it helps!

Welp now this speedrun is invalid because the newest updates came out! It's not the fact that this run didn't show chapter 2 being done, it's just that bombs were nerfed to 2 damage, so the blue and red fights where bombs are used are now different. I guess we can say this was a demo 1 speedrun (this was so impressive to watch by the way I'm not trying to diss on this run because wow)
he had a chance to skip more time at the end of the red and blue fight because if he countered red instead of blocking he would have won faster then what happened
This is a pretty good speedrun but there are a bit of proplems 1st : rng U need to get the power stab nice near the start always which is alot of rng 2nd : countering and running issues Could have countered the red noob for insta kill but u took and extra turn , hit the ant gang when going to the ant tribe 3rd shortcuts U took too long performing shortcuts Thats pretty much it!
