Thank you for this video and every step! i cant wait to finish mine. The box and wire to spray paint beads is a great idea, i had my husband cut me an old hanger and a small box!! great video!
GREAT VIDEO AND I ABSOLUTELY L❤VVVE THE LENGTH ON THE TASSELS. I LIKE TO USE MY GARLAND AS CURTAIN TIE BACKS & PLACED IN A RATTAN BASKET WITH PILLOWS AND BLANKETS & MIXED IN WITH LAMB'S EAR GARLAND.
I just found you. I love your voice and tone. It's sooo relaxing and calming! It just settles my stress at the end of my day and makes me wanna craft!!!
🥰 oh my goodness that is so sweet of you to say, thank you!! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video, crafting is the best for helping make the stress of the day melt away 😌 ❤️
Great tutorial - quick question, with using the spray paint once dried, do you find the beads smell? I have tried this method and I found due to the spray paint the beads had a strong smell & just wondering if it will go away as I’m looking to create these pieces as a new product for my biz & worried now using this method if there will be a toxic smell 🫤
Thank you for watching!! I haven’t had any issue with spray paint. I do prefer to use matte spray paint, and at times I will use a matte clear coat spray paint over the painted beads. 💕
This was a great video! Incredibly informative and easy to follow 💕💕. I’m wondering if you ever make or know how to make the bead garlands that are a loop and only have one open end for a tassel or tag?
Thank you so much!! Yes I do know how to make them, but unfortunately I do not have any videos yet for those types of wood bead garlands. It is definitely something I can do for a video though. I will get to working on one for fall 🍂
Hey Chloe! Thank you for all of the love and support on my new video as well as all my videos 💕 I really appreciate it so much!! I tried to reply to your comment on my new video but I'm not sure what happened, it seems to have disappeared? I hope you are well and thank you again for all of your kind words!! 🤗
Oh ok no problem, that is so sweet!! I was worried UA-cam deleted it by accident. I’m so happy you liked the video, thank you for watching! You are the best! ❤️
Can you tell me how many beads it generally takes for say a 3ft long? I am also curious to know the length of your foam board as well as which mm you went with for your twine? :)
Hi! With the beads that I used, that were 20 mm in size, it would be 51 beads for a 3 foot long wood bead garland (17 beads per foot). I ended up using 33 beads in my garland to make the bead portion about 23 inches. For this garland in particular my foam board was about six or seven inches long I believe, but in the end I ended up trimming my tassels to be about 5 inches long. These tassels were definitely on the longer side for this garland, I usually go with 3 inch tassels. I’m sorry I am not too sure on the mm for the twine though. I believe the wrapper said it was 3 ply. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching! 😊
I appreciate your attention to detail. I am definitely following you.
Thank you so much!! ☺️💗
