Mad respect to Haru! That low, guttural roar she hits at 3:00 may be the best I've ever heard from a female vocalist, especially coming from someone with such a tiny frame.

My God, Haru the bass player woman knocks me out of my boots. The bass is just as big as themselves. And she beats the thing, growls and headbangs like a master ... When we big Europeans see and hear this first time, we can hardly believe it ...
I enjoy hearing Haru on bass but now with the growls i think it's realky brought her playing up too..I sure hope they play some dates in the usathis year!!
Found this band thanks to Naon Yaon 2019 Girl guitars. Had to know who the1 guitarist was and she was Ayumi, Great band, know they have toured the UK, hoping they come to LA.
I love every bit about this performance! Five girls (OK - young women) somewhat between 1.50m and 1.60m tall and cute looking teach you all you need to know about metal. Is the sound muddy? Yes. Is their playing precise? No. Does that matter? Not at all! The second Haru belts out that war-growl 13 seconds into the intro they are all set on full frontal attack. Sheer raw energy. The groovy heavy sections later on and (again) Haru's possesed roar at 3:00 are also the very stuff metal is made of. What was it Manowar once so iconically phrased? "Wimps and posers - leave the hall". Yeah. Very much. Bet they never thought they would get their asses handed by a bunch of sweet young japanese ladies with a bow on the bass.
Always loved Haru's outfits. She stands out in so many ways. She's the only one who keeps the band above water. If she decide to leave, the band is done.

Wish they would come to America. And why is it always L.A.? Why not Las Vegas? They could easily sell out the Hard Rock with three bands. Bridear, with Band Maid, and Lovebites headlining. Hell I'd pay GOOD money to see that show. Hell lets make it a really good show. Aldious, Fate Gear, Mary's Blood, Bridear, for TWO nights. Lovebites headlines Saturday and Band Maid headlines Friday with all those other bands as opening acts. Geez I'm starting to breath hard thinking about THOSE shows. Talk about a dream come true. I'd camp out for days to get those tickets (if they still had that sort of thing buying tickets at the window. I hate all these ticket masters etc who have ruined ticket buying)

Not an old lady bluegrass band. Anything else. I liked the Steampunk look personally but the leather metal look was great, HELL Glam rock would be better than this. BUT no matter what KEEP ROCKING.
For a year, I refrained from commenting on the OP's comment. But, they do subvert the cliched hard rock and heavy metal look of tats and leather. Nothing more fun to see a bunch of girls dressed like nerds playing stonking metal

They dress like nerds and/or middle aged ladies dressed for ladie's lunch or high tea or cocktail reception. I miss Misa for her compositions especially. She is a true rocker/metaller. Mitsuru was already wearing pretty dresses in live shows circa 2016/17. Misa left due to differences in the direction of their music. With Misa, Kai and Mitsuru gone, their post 2017 music became like a pop-metal, or just power pop. All the same, I don't mind how Japanese all female dress up as long as their music kick ass. Cheers
I love Band Maid but they play generic jrock that you can hear in most anime openings or endings. The growling and screaming isnt for everyone but the girls from Bridear blow Band Maid way out of the water. Plus if you check the credits Band Maid dont write all of their own songs, they didnt start writing their own music till their third album and even some of the songs after that werent written by them, while Bridear writes 100% of their own music. Band Maid may know how to play their instruments a bit better in your opinion but Bridear have always been better song writers since day one
Everyone has their own tastes. The mix of clean and contrasted growls bridear brought was a huge reason I love this band so much. They are all top notch musicians and the fact that Haru can do it as well really showcases that in my view!

Haru sounds JUST LIKE the GUY from Band: Misery Loves Company ("My Mind Still Speaks"). Yes, that IS a compliment. ;-)

I'd say that Masha Scream from Arkona has better growls. But Masha is also mainly a vocalist.

I hate heavy metal growling. That's why I like Band-Maid more than Bridear. Better musicians too, only by a little bit though. Bridear girls are good.
