Garry Owen, an Irish traditional tune adopted by The Connaught Rangers, amongst other British and then Empire Regiments, before being taken up by the 7th Cavalry after the march was introduced to that regiment by former officers of the 5th Royal Irish Lancers then serving in the US Army.
A great tune from Ireland and then used by the British Army in the 18 Century before the 7th adopted it as there March. Always better when the pipes and drums play it.
