Even though he may be slow with his English at times, I really do appreciate such a big DJ teaching his tricks and an insight into his art to so many people, you don't see many DJ's doing that these days, that's how you can tell that to him music is a lot more than just money.....
Love what you do, was the Blue Harbour album made in this way? its one of the best albums ive heard in a long time, do you intend to make another album in this style? im also very impressed in the work you have done with Dinka, many thanks and kind regards.
looks like emagic logic 5.5.1 i wish i could get it working on my pc to make some presets for es2 :( found it amazing how he could work with that old version of logic and still stay up to date ...
Genelec 1031A monitors Apple Logic DAW (could have been a version when owned by Emagic) Emu Orbit (the gold rack) Yamaha Pro 01 mixer Novation Keystation 49E etc... There's a good chance that even though he composed the songs in the setup you see on the video, the music was likely tracked in a really nice studio manned by pros who know how to get a solid, tight sound. Mastering then takes that good mix and defines it further. It takes a lot of time, money, and talent to get a tune to sound that way.
+synclavier123 so tired of comments like these...you can get a good sound wherever as long as your know your setup, and when you produce a track a day for years i think you get to know it ;) as far as mastering the label probably had a guy do it because labels like to have their own masters but i bet the engineer didn't have to do too much
The layering of sounds in his music is just bliss. Progressive at it's finest.
probably the most talented guy in progressive dance music..
The best dance music producer in the world

Love this guy!
He says: "So you see? All this is not that very difficult..."
It IS very difficult, Chris. You just make it LOOK easy.
Still the best one in the World, thanks for existing!
These guys are awesome. Been following their *music art* for years. Recognize the Chris's voice from early Dinka mixes. I love the accent as well.
Nothing better than Chris Reece.. I hope we get some more songs like The Fall and Still Breathin'
legendary.
