Nothing you can do directly with the Mic other than moving it closer to boost it. If you have editing software, you can use that to adjust the volume levels. That is how I adjust my sound.

thanks- I've since found audio recording apps on my android smartphone and iOS ipod that allow me to increase the gain which helps though obviously increases noise though as you say it might be best when recording in the field to minimize gain and save using gain for your video editor

I would say you might have to use rodes app or a third party app that allows gain control.

Hello George I am having problems with hear the audio after recording myself. I have it on airplane mode on and I have Samsung S21. Any ideas for me

I was about 6 to 8 feet away from the mic.

No, it has actually worked really well for me. The only issue I found, like I mentioned in the video, was to make sure I put it in airplane mode to disable the wifi and bluetooth which seemed to cause interference with the mic.
