Did u wash the rice what. I don't wash the rice & i add fresh grated coconut. Can u suggest whether we should wash the rice or not .

Hi, It is suggested to wash rice and dry it before roast. Rice grains have greasy (polish)elements while washing you can make out the same. Also you can use fresh coconut, but the shelf life will be minimum 3 days... Hope I've answered you.
By Monday I will upload the recipe of fresh coconut with melted jaggery❤️

Hi Judith, you purchased muttamb /Idli Rice... That rice is used for Guliyo (ಗುಳಿಯೊ). For this recipe, use boiled rice /brown rice /ಕುಚ್ಚಲಕ್ಕಿ. Thank you❤️
