Nice explanation. But you should have mentioned that many songs of Henna were shot in Austria and Switzerland Europe as they were getting bored of shooting the movie for many days in parts of Kulu Manali. There were certain problems to shoot the movie in Kashmir for a long time. In fact the main Title song has also been shot in Austria and the mountains in the backdrop is not Himalayas but the Alps. While shooting in Austria, the director had to be extremely careful that no cars and modern constructions could be seen in the frames. How was Zeba selected for the lead role and brought from Pakistan could have been elaborated. Sayeed Zafri had seen Zeba in a Pakistani serial and asked Randhir Kapoor to think about her for the role of Henna. It took almost 4 years for shooting this movie, becoz of the sudden demise of Raj Kapoor. It is said that the making of this movie almost came to a halt. My observation is Zeba Bakhtiyar looks young n very beautiful in some songs like "Mai Hoon" and "Bedardi Tere" but looks quite chubby and aged especially in the songs like "Aanardana" and "Jaanewaale". If you notice carefully, you will find the difference in her looks. One more thing- Radhu Karmakar received the Filmfare award for the best cinematographer for Henna and Farida Jalal got the Filmfare Award for the best supporting actress for this movie. Although Zeba Bakhtiyar was nominated for the best actress for her amazing performance in Henna but she couldnt get the award (probably becoz she was not an Indian Citizen). Sri Devi took the award for Lamhe released in the same year. One more interesting thing is that Raj Kapoor took Ravindra Jain to Kashmir for a trip before the movie and asked him to enjoy the nature. He composed some of the songs during that pleasure trip. Last but not the least, this is perhaps the only movie in Indian history where three consecutive songs come within very short gap of few mins-- "Der Na ho jaye kahin", "Marhaba Syedi" and " Mai hoon khusrang heena"...the last two occurring without any gap. Personally my favourite song from this movie is Chhitthiye where Henna is found walking with the letter through the orange oak forest in autumn.

As to how I got to know the movie was shot in Austria (without referring to credits/IMDB), if you watch the song 'Mere Jagne se Pehle', you will notice some cafe's in Vienna. That got me thinking that this is not shot entirely in Kashmir.

Zeba also acted in Hindi movie tittled Nargis with Naseerudin Shah made by Khalid Mohammed. The film was complete but not released the audio was released. Raj Kapoor had recorded 3 songs. Lata Mangeshkar and Suresh Wadkar duet, Main Der Nahi Karta....Chittiyen and another song written by Hasrat Jaipuri but Randhir Kapoor didn't use the song insted they used the tune and Ravindra Jain wrote the songs. Raj Kapoor didn't shoot any scene, in fact he had shelved Heena and wanted to Start Ghunghat Ke Phat Kholdo, but Raj Kapoor died before starting. After Raj Kapoor demise his sons made Heena in their way.

काश के ये फिल्मी ड्रामा दोनो देश समझ पाते तो दोनो मुल्क ख़ुशी प्यार चैनो अमन से महेरूम ना होते.
फिल्म के डायलॉग वॉकइ बाहोतही बाहेतरीन है
जिस बात पर ध्यान नही दिया गया वोह है मोह. अझीझ साहब का जन्नती आवाज जो रुह को भी i रुला दे.
आपको भी याद दिलादु वोह अलफाज
किसलीये मासूम रुहो को ताडपणे कि सजा
अपने बंदो कि ख़ुशी से क्यू जला करता है तू
मुन्सीफे तकदीर मिल जायेगा तो पूछेगे हम
किस बिना पे जिंदगी का फैसला करता है तू.
ये मामुली तकरिर नही है इसे वही समझ सकता है जिसके पास ये जजबा है.
माफी चाहूगा के ज्यादा बोला पर सच है.
