This goes for both men and women when it comes to relationships: Don't expect to be treated like a king or a queen if you treat your partner/spouse like a servant or a peasant.

I was always tough, to survive I had to be. It was so hard to put the walls down. My husband…. He’s the one who showed me he was safe. And I’m so happy he feels the same. Our twentieth wedding anniversary is August 25, 2024. Together 21 years. He’s home. And so am I. I am a traditional wife and mom. We choose that from day one, so I’d be home with our sons. I want this stability to show them what they deserve, as good men. But a family can look however you need. This was the one that we needed.

You have to be tough around everyone not just men, and more so with people who seem harmful that's the issue women you put walls to good men and just open it up to whatever jackass you come across and the cycle repeats, then I should say the same a put walls to women just bc some are disgusting? That's the funny part women wanna men prove to them, but you don't want to prove the other way around that's a convenient game, that's the root of all this toxicity in dating, rules for some, no rules for the rest, I can be toxic and you man have to heal me, that's dumb imo.

I recall being a little peeved that my wife didn't keep her surname when we married at the beginning of the 90s... Hippie Era boomer, she neither wears makeup nor shaves. Fine by me, neither do l! I did my share of child minding(work from home dad), but left the mothering to her: she was the better parent. I give her most of the credit for how well our son turned out. So many kids have addiction issues. I worked quite long hours: you don't get a break working for yourself.

i don't even blame women any more if the truth was told and the right systems (pro-human) were in place our society could have a harmonious relationship between the sexes. normal women are very open to suggestion and that is initially out of love. but the lizards that controlled everything hate natural love and sex. I was in a halfway house with a good mix of men and women and everyone was on the same page and each had a bed buddy. that house was so peaceful.

I don't understand why there's this insistence on using the word submissive. There are better words that don't carry the same connotations. Use one of the many more suitable words that doesn't carry that same connotation. Instead of explaining what a word 'really' means, just replace the word you're defending with the words you use in your explanation. Saying trust, cooperation, or whatever isn't any more difficult and communicates more clearly.
Consistently using that word in spite of better options, especially when the people who insist on that word the most are toxic redpill types (of like the Fresh & Fit variety who DO promote that women are immoral unless they fulfill traditional roles and give up their agency), makes it look like what we're really trying to do is trick people into accepting the connotations of that word trojan horse style. As an MRA, I don't like being associated with that.

When I married 38 years ago, I don’t recall ever having a formal discussion with my wife about the “division of duties.” We just fell into our natural roles based on our skill sets: she cooked, shopped, cleaned the house, did the laundry, and was the primary caregiver of the children when they were young. I worked the usual 40 hours per week, did the yard work, did the house repairs, maintained the cars and all the mechanical stuff in the house, and did what I could when the children were young and assumed more responsibilities when they got older.

That woman has been freed from the grasp of corrupting evil. I’m not saying women need to be their spouse’s slave, but I’m saying they don’t need to be some toxic hater or exploiter of men that hates women who support true gender equality.
Every relationship is different, just like how every person is different. You just need to find what works for you and your potential partner.

Cooperation works way better than this hyper competitive nonsense in most relationships. Men have to swallow their pride too in hopes to keep a relationship cooperative. If a woman in a relationship is having it too well, the man is paying for it with money time and sanity.

Women tend to mistake the word submission for subjugation. Submission is obedience given willingly out of love and respect. Subjugation is obedience given out of fear of repercussions. Men generally have most of the traits that good leaders are required to have so it shouldn't be surprising that we generally fill the roll of leader. To follow is not a bad thing. To follow blindly is.

@@theupson To serve your fellow man is what makes you human. You're both there in a relationship to serve, but in different ways. A mans job is to lead. In doing so, he's serving his wife's best interest by offering logic over emotion. Pragmatism over idealism. A man serves his family by providing resources. Whatever that may entail, but most commonly takes the form of money.

Anyone neutral reading this, don't let this represent MRAs. It doesn't represent me. I just want men & women to treat each other with equal respect and have equal rights. People can have whatever relationship they want so long as everyone involved is acting of their own uncoerced free will.

My grandmother was a feminist. She worked with my grandfather 50/50 on building a successful small business in a historically economically depressed region of Canada. Her oldest daughter (one of my favorite aunts) was a feminist. She was one of the first women invited to the modern Olympics in 1928 as a 17-year-old sprinter. My mother was a feminist. In 1967 she was the first woman elected in her own right to chair the Town Council where I grew up. She also campaigned hard for my home state's first female governor. All of these true feminists we're able to maintain their femininity while doing all of these things, and would be horrified at the DEvolution of feminism into the cesspool of hypocritical misandry that it is today.

When a woman submits to a man, he is indirectly submitting to her. Healthy relationships are the ones, where actually no submission is adressed from any side, powergames excluded, and where both compete rather for the interest of the other.

This is why there is a difference between being vulnerable and being submissive. One lets you enjoy doing things for your partner and then letting them take care of you on the next turn around, and the other is being told what to do while then being told how worthless you are if you say no because they only care about theirself.

Once again proving my thesis that women are literally physically incapable of loving unconditionally.
Only men seem to be able to do this. That's why when men provide, they don't talk about how they do it solely to make their family dependent on them, they do it out of a sense of duty.
Women only "provide" insofar as it gets them something in return.
