For the ninth road you should have pointed it back to yourself along the desert and created a loop in case you needed to build more roads going forward
@28.32 It's odd the idea that 6 is not worth it based on previous rolls. 6 (and 8) are always the best numbers, regardless of previous bad or good luck. Looking at the previous roll stats tells us how lucky or unlucky we were in the past, not what to expect in the future.
Do you think maybe purple built that road thinking they could build a settlement but then realized they already had 5 settlements on the board? 😂
I noticed you often base your expectation of a number coming up on the amount of times it has been rolled this match. However, the odds should be always the same, 6 being the most probable (aside from 7 and equal to 8), even if it hasn't come up that much yet!
That's true, a subconscious mindset that I have to overcome!
Some day with intense training, I'll overcome it... soon... or maybe later... but definitely some time... probably...
Amazing!
YAY !!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A WIN
DOOD!!! EPIC PULL!!! THAT WAS HUGE!!!!
HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEE! DUECES
Around the 27:00 mark, not sure why you are interested in taking 3:1 ports when you already have both the wheat port and sheep port and your largest production is wheat and sheep
great game!
lmao, i haven't even started the video but that title! lol I clicked immediately tho
@@Spathy ok now i'm done, it was indeed intense lol you were one roll away from winning with largest army. but then I thought purple won for sure...they must of messed up bc they had so many cards and just needed two roads...
Yeah, mistakes were definitely made on their end... luck was a huge factor in why this match went the way it did LOL.
I can only play first island, port captain, and ore for wool. I wanna play classical game like Spathy. Can anyone help me?
Do you have a video on how you calculate the value of the numbers for the spot? I see you did some additions there after first pick
It's the little dots under the numbers! The more dots, the higher probability of that number bring rolled due to number of combinations that number could be rolled with two dice.
And I don't have a Twitch, if I were to livestream... it would be on UA-cam!
@@Spathy oh gotcha. thanking the subs sounded like a Twitch streamer. Love your channel, keep it up! :)
Soul , lost soul
The thing purple was looking for stealing from red was ore
Why are you checking which number was rolled how often to decide where you build your next settlement? This is wrong you cannot forecast the number which will be rolled from what was rolled earlier!
A tip is to trade more. You had the most wheat which was really valuable, however you almost never proposed trades for ore and brick which you needed. Especially trading with red would be really beneficial. He was no target and each 9 he got brick and you wheat. Gg tho!
The timing of the trades too. No one would trade first turn and you had proposed trade for brick when there were few in play. Later on when everyone just got a brick, you did a 2:1/4:1 trade when you could have had better luck
Honestly I think the game could’ve gone quicker if you didn’t focus on devs. Purple already had 2 knights played before you had your first in hand. While you did push them you probably would’ve been better off saving up ore for cities or going for road sooner. I think you also potentially missed an opportunity with that mono you had such good wheat production you could’ve just waited till 6 ore went out and used it then for 2 cities. I’ve watched a few videos on monos and most suggest that you should be getting 2 vps when you play a mono outside of exceptional circumstances.
I'm working my way up. I look forward to one day playing you!!! Keep your eye out for Sinful_Solution. Almost to diamond
Going to be starting a RISK channel - ua-cam.com/channels/dE0Tlqc2mEZAOpKHVnC0Vg.html
subbed! Been watching another 'tuber, and would love to see your strategies too!
For the record, I would be a completely new Risk player... so you probably won't learn anything from me early on... I'll probably be learning stuff from viewers more than anything LOL
