Dollar general ripped you off. They are dirty and unkempt. The prices on the shelf are not what your charged. They advertise sale prices and then charge you full price. You have to watch them like a hawk. They have been sued in several states.
Every summer I have done Patriotic in my dinning room, my hutch I set up as a Farmer's market w/faux fruit and ceramic fruits baskets. So cute. But last fall when spring was 75% off I got a lemon table runner & 8 lemon-shaped placemats, so I will do the lemon theme. In our sm. town of 500, we just got our 1st store a Dollar General last Sept. We are thrilled, but, it is sm. and doesn't have everything you show,.. I have a covered front porch and last yr. I got a used ice-cream table w/4 chairs, metal/glass/wood. Excellent condition for $100. They wanted $150. So I got Bee placemats & napkin rings & yellow napkins for that table. So it should be a fun summer! Thxs, Val.

I love your DG walk through but at the same time I get frustrated bc our DG are like walking thru a jungle. Everything in boxes sitting in isles constantly while nothing is on the selves. There's no way they are making money on decor bc it doesn't get put out in time in the seasons it should. So sadly the stuff you show we may never see. 😔 Loved all the 🍓 stuff. Farm strawberries here in South Louisiana & my grandmothers kitchen is in 🍓 so ill keep my eye out, thanks😊
Thanks for sharing, Val. DG has always gotten some of my $ for about 7 years now!! They really have nice decor and seasonal items. Especially when it goes on sale, too. Loved the cake stand, the fruit towels and plates, and the pillows you put together. Very nice. Looks like I will be heading there soon. Lol!
Gosh I'm always amazed at what you gals on YT find at Dollar General. The stores in my area have nothing like what you find. It's usually a disappointing trip and I swear I am done with DG. I must say, the one thing I absolutely do not understand is the fake lemons. Why not buy real lemons? It is a thing you always need anyway, so you already probably have real lemons in your fridge... I don't like the idea of extra plastic laying around when you could use the real deal!

My kitchen and dining room are decorated in lemons, 🍋 strawberries 🍓and bees.🐝 I'm always on the lookout for new items. I do like dollar general.

The butter dish is large so the lid will clear the stick. It’s not meant to hold a stick that large.
