Thanks, this was very cool. Would love to have you do a MSFS 2024 cold and dark startup, walking us through the process...and I love when you point out the subtle, or not so subtle, differences or missing items from what you see, do, or hear in real life. I am always hoping that the aircraft development team will see a video like yours and update the model to be even closer to real life.
@@riscfuture Can't wait to get your insight on this jet once things settle down. I'm having fun with it so far, I think it's my favorite jet in the standard version of the game so far. I noted quite a few changes from the mod in FS2020 that bring it closer to reality but I suspect it's still pretty far from reality.
Please do flight and compare it to the real plane. That would be soooo interesting! Regardless of any bugs, its a standard plane. I really appreciate it and love to fly it in the career mode. Thumbs up, great content, with funny and highly interesting insights.
Love the content as always. One quick tip. You mentioned that the checklists are simplified. I can't speak for the VisionJet but I do see that you have your checklists set to Level: Standard. You can pull that down and change it to Level: Expert for a full 1:1 manufacturer checklist in a lot of aircraft.
Interesting to have the vision of a real Vision Jet for MS2024. I have discovered this aircraft in MSFS and it is quite interesting to know this aircraft as I am a ATC on a business airport in France and we have sometimes this aircraft. Hope to see more videos. 😊
Thanks for the video. Fingers crossed, the devs see this video. By the way, I tried the CAPS. It works. Haven't tried the safe return yet. Next on the todo list. LOL ;)
Safe return worked for me, and landed better than I do! Also failed with an error message another time, seems like it might require the plane to be above a certain elevation.
I would be more willing to do preflights if they held any real value above just the experience of doing them. In other words, if a preflight could actually find issues. But the aircraft are always delivered in the same, working state with no problems. Have you notice any differences between the SF50 in FS2024 versus the FlightFX one in 2020?
Agreed, maybe that will find its way into career mode someday. There’s a lot of differences between the two VJs. The FS2024 VJ has some more realistic avionics in some areas but also is missing some functionality that is in the FS2020 version. So it’s a bit of a mixed bag right now.
Hi Tim, thanks for the great video! Could you do a video with pre-flight inspection on a real Vision Jet? It is very interesting to compare sim with reality.
Hi, Tim. I have questions for you. In MSFS 2024, is the SF50 missing a Simbrief and Charts buttons in the touch screen menus? Also, is the custom callsign not working?
The Asobo SF50 has different functionality than the FlightFX SF50. Some stuff was added and some stuff removed, including SimBrief. And yes, there are still some bugs in FS2024 around call signs.
As a local Knoxvillian and since you said it both ways, it's "McGhee Tyson" rather than "Tyson McGhee". :) Thanks for another very informative video though! I'm curious how the scale of the hangar models seems to you; the photo makes it look like a much larger structure that fits more planes than the third-party scenery made by some kind stranger.
To be honest, I never actually received my plane in the delivery hangar. They parked it unceremoniously on the ramp outside. I was only in the delivery hangar once or twice during type training, for various reasons, but I don't recall it being very different from the 3D model.

I'll do a video after I wait a few patch cycles for everything to settle down.

Didn't realize that!

Is the msfs 2024 vision jet more realistic than the payware version in the sim market place version in msfs 2020?
Some things are more realistic, some things are less realistic. It’s a mixed bag.
@ which one do you prefer ?

Nicely done.

in career mode this is a thing. When you purchase a plane you must maintain it and pay for maintenance.

just did!

Nice video!! How do you start the plane inside the hangar like this? Its just awesome
Use the scenery I mentioned at the beginning of the video to get the hangar
@riscfuture ty!
Good video, but please do it in 16:9 ratio as it is common for 95% of the viewers. Tnx for the good explanation
How do you change the color of the SF50? I tried repainting it but it just applied the same cherry paint again.
Yes. I’ve noticed it works for the first flight but for subsequent flights my livery choice is reset.
Is there a way to get your hands on the POH? Great video btw.
The AFM and PIM are available on the Cirrus Service Centers website if you do a little googling
Remember you can also use a drone camera
I thought about it, but it kinda defeats the purpose of “walk around” mode
@ yep thanks for the awesome video mate, definitely the best Vjet video on youtube hands‼️
@@riscfuturelet’s petition the dev’s for a prone keybind next!
This as good as it is in MSFS 2020 ?
Some things are better and some things are worse. It’s a mixed bag
