I’m actually on my way to another Home Depot now to see if they have any! 😂 I’m definitely obsessed with orchids and at that price I can’t go wrong, plus they’re in bloom! It’s a win win!
@@orchidsinparadise2438 I’m the same way I go to Lowe’s and Home Depot and I have also bought from carmelas orchids I did my shopping yesterday at Lowe’s I was only going for one orchid and came home with 4 orchids I spent $125 and my husband told me I’m crazy lol 😂but I just can’t stop I see one and I just got to have it

Except I’m buying all the gifts for myself 🤦♀️ Luckily my husband supports my obsession, well for now he does anyway! 😆 The Home Depot I went to didn’t have any of the $7 orchids, I asked the cashier in the garden department if she had seen any but she said she hadn’t. She told me that each location doesn’t always get the same shipments and that maybe one location will get it one week and they might get it the next week. But…..they did have an orchid that the other store didn’t have and even though I just bought 11 orchids, I just couldn’t leave without this one! 😂

Thanks Paul, you know I actually have some bricks on some of my other palms that I use as a shelf to hold other plants and those have stayed in place. Maybe I’ll just add a few of those bricks on the ones that need extra weight. Have a great weekend! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Aloha Paul, yes they are! I walk my garden at night occasionally trying to hunt them down 😂 I should be going out there every night because whenever I do check, I always find at least one! 😑
Aloha, my husband made the waterfall with a mixture of concrete and sand over some wire that he used as the form. He watched several UA-cam videos to get ideas. I hope that helps. I wasn’t a fan of the design to be honest lol! But it was his first time ever so I think it came out ok. There’s another waterfall in my botanical garden video if you want to check out what that one looks like. I like that one better, more natural looking.
LOVE that Chartreuse color Dendrobium just purchased.. The mystery Orchids appears to be an Oncidium (from the pseudobulbs). Have you tried Neem Oil as a safe insecticide?
Aloha, yes that dendrobium is definitely a pretty color. I believe majority of them are oncidiums. They were all so pretty and such a great deal $$! I have not tried neem oil yet. I’ve heard mixed reviews about it so I’m on the fence about trying it. Have you had success using it? I’m always open to trying natural products as long as I know how to properly use them, so I’d appreciate any advice. Mahalo for watching 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
@@orchidsinparadise2438 Purchased RTU (Ready To Use) from Amazon twice. Seems to have worked. Had Spider Mites? & Orchid Scale. Read label directions & do _Not spray during the heat of the day. ps. it stinks.
