It is quite possibly one of the worst gimmicks ever. It is also one of the best gimmicks ever.
I think that Matt should've became "broken" after he suffered a "broken" Heart from Lita when she cheated on him then he could've DELETED! Edge and make him OBSOLETE!
Blacker Adam I thought he was broken after having to give up the tag titles wit Jeffs broken leg and he wanted to punish him, make Jeff broken too but to give him power to re capture he titles to pay his brother back- which they now have. He didn't last long because he was a golfer whose name was a parody on Payne Stewart, Aussie PGA golfer. (He was played by Barry Darsow, aka Repo Man and Smash from Demolition.)

Am I the only one who can make logic out of the Kane story? Here we go: Fire happens, Kane is so traumatized by the incident that he believes he has these hideous scars, Paul Bearer (twisted character that he was) uses Kane's psychological issues to his advantage to take revenge on Undertaker (who started the fire that killed Kane's mother, and don't forget that Kane's father is Paul Bearer.) So Kane knows that Taker is in WWE and trains to become a wrestler and take his revenge. At wrestling school, he meets Katie Vick. So begins a romance, swiftly ended when she died in a car crash, in which Kane may or not have been behind the wheel. Heartbroken by this loss, Kane now devotes all his energy to his only other goal - revenge on his brother. Continues to train and eventually arrives in WWE to avenge the death of his mother, ripping the door off a hell in a cell for good measure. That's how you summarize Kane's back story, Andrew, Blampied and any other mothafucka that wants to shit on Glenn Jacobs and his back story.

WCW management wanted to capitalise on the success and controversy surrounding Mortal Kombat and decided on having two of their lower card guys dress up as two of the most popular fighters from the game. There was no backstory to them, and they had the most ridiculous entrances ever. What made it even more ridiculous was when when Ernest "The Cat" Miller came out dressed up as Scorpion later on. Yes, "The Cat". Wow, inspired story writing there.

Here's one for you guys. My friends and I used to backyard wrestle when we were all in middle school. I stopped to focus on my martial arts, but my friends continued on. Anyway, there was one kid that joined up with them, wore a mask joined a group called Gothic Era (think of it as Wyatt Family, but without talent). His name was Minyon.
All well and good except, he was supposed to be a robot.... a grunting, groaning, gasping, fluid-motion, punch-selling robot. I don't think they ever did explain WHO put the robot together. I can only assume he was the prototype android 1 for Dr. Gero in DBZ.
i totally forgot about adam bomb. he was a favorite of mine when i was a kid.

Number 2 is wrong twice. Firstly Kiss' revival at that time was huge and not just with boomers. A Kiss franchise was a license to print money, one run of Kiss comics set Dark Horse up for the next 10 years.
Secondly once the Demon split with Vampiro we did get his backstory, he was a Mexican wrestler controlled by a demon who loved money (a dig at Bishof) and Vampiro had evoked another demon to take him over so that would be under his command. Then Vampiro's demon killed him.

Hornswoggle actually talked when he first came to WWE. They called him Little Bastard back then. (He made his actual WWE debut as the ring bearer at Kane's 2004 wedding to Lita.) Nailz (aka Kevin Wacholz) was in AWA as Kevin ("Mr. Magnificent") Kelly prior to WWF. Re Kamala: you have to love the segment on Tuesday Night Titans (I believe) where Slick tried to teach Kamala to friggn' bowl. (That's right, I said BOWL.) As for the part-time job guys, nobody ever remembers the character Stewart Pain, aka Hole in One. He didn't last long because he was a golfer whose name was a parody on Payne Stewart, Aussie PGA golfer. Payne Stewart was killed in a plane crash shortly after Stewart Pain's WWF debut, so he was released after only a couple of appearances. (He was played by Barry Darsow, aka Repo Man and Smash from Demolition.)
While his back story doesn't make sense, Suicide still has the best entrance music in this list.

What about the backstory of Fantasio, the magician mime who only wrestled one match against a wrestler named after the Hollywood actor, Danny DeVito? His backstory was never explained and the reasons behind him only appearing for one match is shrowded in rumors such as The Undertaker didn't like him at all and/or was complaining that Fantasio's gimmick was too closely resembling his own...

Am I the only one who can make logic out of the Kane story? Here we go: Fire happens, Kane is so traumatized by the incident that he believes he has these hideous scars, Paul Bearer (twisted character that he was) uses Kane's psychological issues to his advantage to take revenge on Undertaker (who started the fire that killed Kane's mother, and don't forget that Kane's father is Paul Bearer.) So Kane knows that Taker is in WWE and trains to become a wrestler and take his revenge. At wrestling school, he meets Katie Vick. So begins a romance, swiftly ended when she died in a car crash, in which Kane may or not have been behind the wheel. Heartbroken by this loss, Kane now devotes all his energy to his only other goal - revenge on his brother. Continues to train and eventually arrives in WWE to avenge the death of his mother, ripping the door off a hell in a cell for good measure. That's how you summarize Kane's back story, Andrew, Blampied and any other mothafucka that wants to shit on Glenn Jacobs and his back story.
The creation of Typhoon formerly Tugboat. Tugboat was Hogan's #1 fan and when Hogan was keyfabe injured, Tugboat rallied the Hulkamaniacs to send support and would often take a beating at the hands of Jimmy Hart's coalition of Earthquake and company. Hogan came back and never acknowledged Tugboat which led Tugboat to turning heel and becoming Typhoon.
