- On a forecast of 8 knots of wind said to becoming straight from behind us, we set out to do an overnight crossing from Simeulue to Sumatra. All things start so beautifully. And then we experience the longest lasting 'squall' ever! - in our experience that is :)

One thing we noticed recently is that our reliable lunar monsoonal calendar has been shifting around and being unpredictable.
Wouldn’t be a stretch to see all these winds are connected by the Indian Ocean and what’s going down south.
Climate change is changing weather patterns that forecasting tools are now finding harder to predict
