Imagine a 50,000 piece puzzle and we have maybe half of the pieces. BTS (specifically Jin) said once during COVID their next album might get back into the BU, but we will see. Also remember Celeste just did an overview on her video. It is a deep deep story. I love it!! 💜💜
Okay so first of all bts storeyline is not just a thing to fit into your brains in just one day it took me almost 2 years to realize all the connections of the storeyline,BU, THE GAME, THE WEBTOON, THE HIGHLIGHT FILM, THE SHORT FILMS,THE MVS and believe me I used to get shocks in daylight realizing one or two thing abt the meaning behind all of this story told by X Celeste and their relation with all the visuals used in their mvs. So it's okay to get puzzled at first but you shld keep watching these different puzzle pieces in the form of videos and contexts and explainition videos. As the time will pass you will start getting a clear picture of how much deep bts went with their music.
I still remember the day when I realized walking down the street that SAVE ME ( song by bts) written in a mirror seems like IM FINE ( another song by bts) from the opposite side ( as shown IN FAKE LOVE MV of bts too where V wrote 'SAVE ME' on the mirror but the members being opposite to him saw 'I'm Fine' ) and bighit really produced this song with the backward beat of Save me 🤯🤯I was standing still on that day in the middle of road for few seconds still recovering from the overwhelming respect for bts' work lol. Well there is a lot to discover yet even for me .

To understand all this you really need to go through all their BU songs in a cohesive way..it's really interesting to go through all these MVs to trace an amazing story..feels like a journey to keep you on your toes..do follow the correct order though and ask all u want... Btw I saw this one clip in one of these expalinition videos that there is a room made by armys which has all the clues abt bts storeylines and it's connected since the beginning ( 2013) and whenever a new update comes Armys also update that BU map. It was pretty cool to see that stuff. Just like some criminal investigation record arranged by military ARMY.

BU was the first of its kind with its storylines and some lores intricately woven through various forms of media as what mentioned. I think BTS started it and few groups started the kind of content.
BU started with a music video I Need U from then on it's an on going thing.
And we , ARMY's became detectives looking out for clues every BTS video or contents are out.
quick google search said, that EXO had their universe starting from their very first MV, which is earlier, than BTS even debuted. So BTS are for sure not the first ones to have a storyline (I am not saying that EXO were the first ones either, there was probably someone else earlier, I just don't know who).
If we're being honest, ARMYs have AMAZING memory when it's about BTS. People would literally remember a post from years ago and bring it back when BTS references it to something today. Ask us anything and we'd give you an answer. Just don't let us do any Math xD
I see that you are hooked too. I swear I never knew I could be into something so much until these people walked into my life, my ears, and my eyes. I know this method has now in place for the new generation of idols, but I believe BTS was the first to actually do this and it really is a universe. It is truly amazing and I'm so here for it. Loved this reaction, just as confused as I was when I first got started (and yes I'm still confused sometimes and still see new stuff I didn't realize was there when I re-watch a video) but it's so much fun. Man, BIG HIT & ARMY started all from 2015 - recents. ARMY making dots in every BU contents. Started with MV’s with marked with #BU. Some album’s Notes, 2 short film from 2 Games app, also stories from the latest games. Short film like: highlight reels. Also some Blogs that connect with BU from Bighit. And dont forget about SAVE ME Webtoon. So yeah Detectives ARMY has made sooo many theories. And making us so crazy and headache… for new ARMY like you it will be made you so confused from where…?? So many to catched up…
the information is coming from the combination of their mv's in order. a lot of what you are seeing is from the album 'wings, watch the short story film from wings, also the mv 'run' and the songs on the album young forever. to understand how bts puts their songs into a continuous story you should watch 'bulletproof: eternal, it will help you out greatly. the recent mv ' film out ' condenses the bu universe, examining their past lives, current lives and their questionable future lives. your ?, by watching the stories in the mv's is the 'real world, the false world is the 'what if' that separates one song from another. bts is the only group that tells a continuous story with their mv's, 2013 - present. they [ bts ] are writing a musical song story 'book. note, if you go back in time, pink floyd' created 'the wall' music movie, the who' created 'tommy' the music movie, and in his own way prince' created purple rain''. bts uses a greater scale of history were all of their albums are involved in the continuous story of the bts persona.

That can get very confusing if you are trying to follow the storyline. I have almost all of the BU videos with English subtitles. I've saved the links as I found them, and have a list. I'm sure there are some I don't have, like the Japanese videos, but if you are interested in what I do have, just let me know how you want me to send it to you, or link it to you. Thanks 💜

This storyline drove my mind crazy it's alot to digest and at the time I watched this I only seen maybe 3 or 4 songs connected it still alot to take in
The BTS Universe Storyline is imbedded in some of BTS' music videos, notes, video games, film, etc. BTS has so many contents and ARMYs have kept up with the storyline through years of hints and info strategically placed on the contents BTS is putting out.

Tbh the only reason I could keep up, is because I was ARMY back when all of this started. It’s easier when you have time after every content release to theorize with other ARMY. If I became a fan right now, I wouldn’t be able to keep up without these type of videos and getting spoilers. 😅💜

I recommend you watch the Love Yourself Highlight Reel. As well do the BU journey. It will make sense. 💜
Actually no. The books were only recently released maybe in 2019? But the BU has been going on since 2016 since it was introduced only at that time but I'm pretty sure all the clips and VCRs before 2016 they used at concerts and stuffs are a part of BU too. They never released contents in chronological orders and we had to put them all together. They would release notes in their albums which would help us put the clips together and make a story which I think you already realised is not everyone can do. It's extremely confusing. I've been an army since 2016 and it's even confusing for me. the book made it easier to piece them together too though. Things we realize just now can be seen in the slips of 2013. Like it's all really crazy. They never say when the next BU content is coming out or which is the part of BU like they used to in the past by marking the videos with a BU stamp. I'm pretty sure BU is gonna continue for years and years to come so prepare yourself.
She already told where she got all the information from the start of the video from the mv,highlight films,short films,the webtoon,the notes,the 2 books and the game

Many groups have their own timelines, in Hybe BTS, TxT and Enhypen have their timelines, Gfriend had theirs as well.
While other groups have storylines, I wouldn't say any have one to the extent or seriousness that BTS does.

👀 Watching the BU summary without watching some of the videos and short films will be a little confusing but honestly if you want the videos you will be confused too. 🤣🤣 The I Need U MV was the first of the BU, the On Stage Prologue MV and then Run MV are the first 3 vids I believe. There are folks who created a list files somewhere on the interwebs, maybe on Reddit. It's like she said, she pieced together it all from the various sources: MVs, Webtoon, Notes, Mobile game, etc. And, yes, I kdramas and there's not a kdrama without childhood trauma. The BU is dark but hopeful 💜💜
Yeah now that I have an idea of what’s going on I’ll probably start from the beginning and do what I can as I am not gonna do story time with a BTS book with you guys or play a video game live twitch stream lol
@@DDoubleDJ You know they just started a new Web comic story called 7 fates. 😏 Save Me webtoon is good, maybe just to a book review' vid but it's up to you. Let's just say, BigHit and BTS are masters of content. There so much in all of BTS. Us ARMY are so spoiled because wer are constantly fed with stuff. 300 songs and more. Imagine if Beyonce or Bruno provide more content and they already do put out content.

OMG. I just realized you haven't seen the Euphoria MV. There's a scene where Jungkook's standing on top of a building which is right before he jumps :( I watched DKDTV's first reaction to the film and they mentioned that there was something about the lyrics that made it feel like s3w3rslid3 so when I watched the Storyline, it all made sense.
I just realized, the girls that helped the boys at the hospital are from the kpop group ITZY. Wow.

all the footage is from the music videos and they have some Japanese versions of their songs and you could probably find a UA-cam playlist of all of their MV in order
So do the lyrics follow the story too or just the music videos. Like if I go in fresh to the first video with the lyrics be part of the whole thing too or should I focus on the visuals.

So it means that lyric also about their bu story. Also lyric in "Butterfly", "Save Me"; short films and songs "Begin", "First Love", "Reflection", "MAMA", "Awake", "Stigma", "Lie" from WINGS

The clips are from everywhere, books, music videos, webtoon all of it give the pieces so it would be too hard for her to say exactly... but as you watch bts content u will begin to notice the BU pieces for yourself scattered everywhere...
I think now that I have an idea of what’s going on I can watch the vids and actually understand. I dunno about the video game and books though lol. I don’t read much and don’t have time to play too many video games anymore

You might be confused with what the Notes are. Basically, when you buy an album a really thin pocket-sized Notes-- which contains pieces of the story-- comes with it but there are also book Notes that you can purchase 😊

Tones of k-pop groups have their own storylines: Stray Kids, EXO, ATEEZ, Enhypen, TXT, Aespa, Dreamcatcher and so on and so forth.
Very often you watch an MV and think "it looks very interesting, must have a meaning, but I don't get anything what is going on" - usually it is a sign that the MV is a part of a storyline :)
I feel that storylines are for really hard core fans. I am a Stay (fan of Stray Kids) and I don't fully understand what is happening in their MVs - same for BTS, I am so lost without such explanation videos. Although when you know the universe a bit and then you find some clues to it in new MVs, you feel very excited and smart, probably this is the whole point of these universe adventures.
I don't know too much about universes of other groups, I can just say that it is just like with Stray Kids and BTS - you don't understand anything by watching several MVs once, you need to dig deep.
Like an Eminem song, each time you hear it you hear something new and more amazing like how did I miss that before.

I don't know much about storylines of TXT or SM groups, that's why I don't know how deep any of them are. anyways, I didn't know there is a competition about deepness of storylines. I would say, that it is important that the storylines are entertaining for the fans and different enough from each other. If the groups competed in how sad the background of their alter ego is, that would be boring.

And how do you know other groups don’t have deep storylines? I know that Stray Kids have a deep one, but I didn’t “study” other groups to judge about them.
