Little advice, there are times when you have to shut your mouth. 🤫
He does have a good point. Half the time, Brazil qualifies at the top of the CONMEBOL table undefeated, but then they get to the World Cup, and crash out in the quarter-finals. Association football isn't the same as it was in Pele's day, when there weren't half as many elite national teams as there are today. And Brazil's problem is they have a weak spot; defense. They hardly ever have to *play* defense, because they're in possession of the ball 90% of the game, so when they come up against elite European teams, they often get exposed at the backline, even when they win.
FIFA+VAR+Quatar +Referee +Argentina =Worldcup garanteed...in this way even Malta can win the worldcup in 4 years
Your excuses don't make any sense.
UEFA is an European body, so by your logic it would have favored France. VAR calls were few, but correct all through the game. The referee was an European, so again by your logic he would have favored France. Qatar owns PSG in the French capital for a decade now, kicked out all the Argentinian players there at the instigation of Mbappe and Messi only played for them since last season, so they're more connected with France than Argentina. The French president needed just one visit to be part of the award ceremony personnel in the hope of congratulating France at the end, despite him having nothing to do with football, yet another potential point for France. France has been awarded 2 penalties during the game compared to Argentina's only 1, both of them leading to the French equalizing against the way the game was going. Bottom line, you're probably just salty that the referee was fair enough to spot Thuram simulating for yet another penalty in the 87th minute and rewarded him with a yellow card...
Oh, and Malta doesn't need a WC, they are already Knights Hospitaller ;)

What's wrong with Mbappe's comment? In term of competition I think South America indeed lacking in it. At least for now. But doesn't mean they are not talented.
The problem is his ignorance. Despite the lack of competition, 4 or 5 Southamerican National Teams are stronger than 80% Europeans and very competitive. Also the World cup qualifiers are more difficult than European's. Even the African's are.
Lacking now South America hold the World Cup trophy weak or not weak he should not said that because it'll be disrespect to other team even tho that won't effect to Argentina,Brazil, Ecuador or Uruguay
@@gringopablo If they are competitive why South America always dominated by Brazil, Argentine, and Uruguay? There's a reason why their key players play at European club.
@@NoName-ug8hb Why Europe si always dominanted by Italy, Germany and now France? Not even Spain, England or Portugal (in a 2nd Group). And we are talking about National Teams. Not clubs.
Clubs in Europe are big and professional because of money, their are enterprises (except few of them). In South America, most are still "non lucratives associations", it means, no owners, no CEOs, no chairmans, no sheiks, no multinationals, no enterprises, just CLUBS where authorities are elected by the fans. Some clubs in Brasil, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, are changing this.
Argentina, doesn't. Where also economy is weak, inestable, hence, Europe is players' destiny. Like African teenage players in the last 15 years. But we don't cry about it. We accept and deal with it. But National Teams and continental competitions, are not easy and very competitive.
@@gringopablo You should realize that European Teams are almost balanced. While South America always consist of the big three. That's the reason why they're lack in competition.
Club is important as well for the National Team. The reason why they go to European club is to have an experience. They compete, train and they learn tactics there, everyday. Being good at football is not instant.

Mbappe has a point with that statement he made before the world cup. That's not just an opinion, it's a fact. South American football is not nearly as developed as in Europe. That's pretty much the reason why brazil and argentina are always in the top 5 in the fifa ranking despite no South American team winning the wc since 2002 which says alot about the ranking system corrupt fifa has created. They really need to think the criteria of the ranking system. And to be fair belgium hasn't even won anything including the euros and world cup yet they are always ranked either 1st or 2nd or at least in the top 5. So I never go by the fifa world ranking. Brazil being 1st means nothing as it's a corrupt system. If European teams played the same low quality opponents that South American teams have every few months then you would be seeing them in the top 10 every single year.
the greatest players in history have come from south America, the top players ever are all from Argentina and Brazil.
European clubs would have nothing if they didn't import south american players.
the only thing that Europe has over latin america is money.
@Liquidcadmus That's because in Europe they learn to play as a team and not just one player showing off by going through defenders to score. This is a team sport. It's not 11v1, it's 11v11. And on your note, the only great Argentinian player in history that has made a difference for his team is Maradona. And if you look it up, the majority of the best players in the world have actually come from europe, including all time top scorer and world cup winner Klose.
Still so many players are in europs top league..it is quite an acheivement
