Stunning venue isn't it? Only thing is when I went (it was a few years ago) there was a list of rules as long as your arm including no braid at all, dunno if thats changed? I have never seen carp with fins as big as they've got, ever likely fight hard 🙂
It was great I enjoyed this session. I haven’t seen back since so I’m overdue a return. I think they have a problem with being going “camping” and getting a bit too jolly on the beers from what I’ve heard
@@SpecialistBlanker you can do without that; go fishing to chill out not be on edge wondering what’s going kick off. I need watch your France video when I get chance. Looking forward to that.
Great video nice looking lake pal and good to see u only using 2 rods i think we are guilty of using 3 rods a lot of the time simply because the rules allow it when infact a third line can be a negative factor well done on banking 3 lovely pristine fish cheers bud tighlines
Sometimes it’s just a common sense approach for the number of rods to use. There was no way 3 could have been used in that situation and probably would have resulted in lost fish and tangles! Thanks for watching as always mate - appreciate the comments and feedback 👍🏼
Hi Brian - yes the lake is mainly 4-5ft deep which explains the characteristics of some of the carp. I was well chuffed mate 👍🏼 thanks for tuning in as always pal 🐳
Hi Dan - yes you can just turn up mate. If you want to night fish you have to buy a night permit for £10 which lasts for the year. General rules apply - nothing too specific 👍🏼
@@SpecialistBlanker nice one, will give this a crack over the weekend then for sure! Looks a good lake. Where abouts do you pay? I’ll definitely look into the night permit too.
@@Danfrodo1 lots of my mates fish there so don’t be afraid to ask the locals for tips. Fish tight to the island locked up. Don’t use pellets or the bream will hammer you
Thanks for watching pal - any help or advise is welcome for Linear as I’ve never been and it’s on the bucket list to tick off. I like to stick to my northern routes but it’s one of them places I want to get to experience it for myself 👍🏼
Don’t think so mate but it’s on Facebook I’m sure. I’m not on there myself but some of my pals have said it is 👍🏼 Gawsworth Fisheries. Thanks for tuning in & commenting
It’s a shame but it’s gone to the dogs now John has passed away. If it did have some good fish put n there it would be a nice place it needs a 30lb in there and not so many dickheads
Thanks for watching David. I have only been a couple of times and it was fine both times but a few of my mates don’t fish it anymore because too many muppets go 👍🏻🎣
Looks like a nice place to fish may have to give this place a look at some point. Great video pal
Thanks mate - I haven’t been back since but I don’t think much has changed. Thanks for watching 😊🎣
@@SpecialistBlanker no worries enjoy watching other carp UA-camrs.... and like your vids
Nice one Mark. It's about time you got a bend on your rods . 🎣👍
Cheers mate and thanks for watching. The special milk will be making an appearance soon 👀😂

Yes Levi 💯 definitely a water for us to have a social on 👍🏼 Thanks for watching as always mate
3fish on a new venue is a result in my book, would I be right in saying that it's a shallow lake going by the fish shape, long and lean 👍🎣

Thanks Mrs P 👍🏼
Hi mate which lake where you on here?
I was on the “specimen” water - can’t remember the name of it. Think it might be called Wood Pool? The one with the bigger carp and cats in it 👍🏼🎣
Is that the pool near the toilets?
Yes it is 👍🏼
@@SpecialistBlanker I fished there about 10yrs ago,I'm 76yrs now,and can't walk far,so the spot near the toilets woudl be handy.
Good video as always, Good luck at linear take plenty of corn like 10k haha

Has anyone had problems with Gawsworth-Fisheries Website?
Not that I’m aware of Nigel
Is this a P.A water
Hi James - no, it’s a day ticket water in Gawsworth, Macclesfield
Is there a website for this place mate ? Looks like a quite nice place tbh
Don’t think so mate but it’s on Facebook I’m sure. I’m not on there myself but some of my pals have said it is 👍🏼 Gawsworth Fisheries. Thanks for tuning in & commenting
👏👏👏
Cheers Rik - thanks for watching as always pal. Oh and showing me where to fish 😉
Nice video mate. Did you need special permission to fish there overnight ?
Thanks for watching Nigel. You have to buy a night permit which is £10 for the year. Then you pay to fish a night/day as you choose 👍🏼
Get that barbecue on son....!!🍗😉👍
Cheers Matt - catch up soon needed mate 👍🏼🐳
If there are any 20lb fish in there pal I’ll eat my rods
I’m sure there is mate - I’ll have to go back and try to catch one 👍🏼
