Sometimes I feel like I am crazy for thinking about race in ways similar to these kinds of authors. Nobody around me has a similar language to describe life as a Black man. So it does get lonely reading these books. But I read them to attain freedom. Freedom from this invisible psychological barrier that seems and feels restricting. I am already free as a Black man. But something feels missing. Appreciate these conversations
