Jose, keep track of your mileage and tax time, you can report it as a write off....65 cents a mile. Maybe Uber doesn't cover that, but federally you are an independent contractor and they count your annual mileage which lowers your taxes.

As an independent contractor I would think you would have some sort of claim against her at the very least for lost wages and them. They are constantly getting sued so make sure to record all your trips because years down the road youll probably start getting a few checks like I did but the catch is you have to be aware of these suits and its easy, you just type uber lawsuit driver florida.
