DECO 40th Anniversary Event Intro

A giant clay flower arch is completed in the lush tropical landscape of Hawaii.
大自然ハワイでクレイフラワーの巨大アーチが完成！　
DECOクレイクラフト（装飾粘土工芸）を展開する、株式会社DECO（東京都江東区木場、主宰：宮井和子）は、世界のDECO Clay Craft Academyの有志270名超とハンドメイドのクレイフラワー（胡蝶蘭・シンビジウム・カトレア・バラ）800本を製作しアメリカ・ハワイ校に届け、DECO副主宰/ハワイ校代表：宮井友紀子アレンジのもと、巨大アーチ「Flowers Bring Us Together」を創作。
The DECO Clay Craft Academy together with more than 270 instructors from the Academy around the world, handmade clay orchid flowers of phalaenopsis, cymbidium, and cattleya. Over eight hundred flower stems were produced and delivered to the Hawaii branch in the United States, and the giant arch, titled, "Flowers Bring Us Together" installed by Yukiko Miyai.
コロナ禍で思うように会えない世界の仲間との「遠く離れていてもいつも心はつながっている」ことをハワイの大自然の中表現し、希望と未来を印した。製作には日本をはじめ世界15ヵ国（アメリカ、カナダ、ロシア、ラトビア、リトアニア、モルドヴァ、スペイン、ウクライナ、UK、台湾、香ko港、中国、インド、オーストラリア、マレーシア、シンガポール）の有志が参加。
In the wilderness of Hawaii, it was the desire of the academy to express hope for the future, through this collaborative work that "the heart is always connected even if you are far away" with friends from around the world who cannot meet due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instructors from over 15 countries (Japan, US, Canada, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Spain, Ukraine, UK, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, India, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore) participated in the production.
コロナ禍のおうち時間を使って、一人ひとりが想いを込めて作り上げたクレイフラワーなだけに、世界中のクレイファンが待ちに待った瞬間になります。
This is the moment that clay fans all over the world have been waiting for, as each flower of this arch represents the heart of the persons who has created it with their own hands and during this difficult time in the world.
