No wonder SJ was crazy popular when they debuted. its been 12 years & most of them are 30+ but they still look so bloody handsome. like look at those visuals. SJ is still sm's biggest asset as they saw an increase in stocks after the cb. Also they were #1 in like 21 countries, they r hooked with several variety shows, they sold well. I hope they perform this on year end music shows too. Everyone should know they still got it.

Well, younger Idols could won their songs on the music charts but in the end the group that could entertained by showing their true self in front of camera and received lot of love by Koreans is the one that will survived individually - SuJu is one of example the true entertainer boygroup.
Just take a look on how Korean Variety Show nowadays prefer invited Actresses or Actors because they just don't care about showing their flaws. No matter how handsome, cute or sexy those young Idols are now, their personality just too boring to watch and those who couldn't entertained viewers only will vanished on their 40s or 50s. Simply because they're no longer could be called as an Idols and couldn't beat those Comedians or Actors. No offense.

Can I just say that I really admire Shindong? I only discovered Super Junior recently so I'm not exactly knowledgeable. But he just inspires me so much. In an industry that relies massively on appearances, he has stayed himself and continues as who he is although he doesn't fit the "idol" image... He is an amazing singer dancer and performer and I really find inspiration in his openness.

I also think Yesung is the leader in this stealing mission. And the girl is part of it. The key is the lyrics yesung sings: areumdaun silluet sarajigi jeone (Before your beautiful silhouette disappears). That indicates the time when the girl steals the suit. So, Yesung knows it. And here, Yesung is either the leader of Suju or he betrays them and steals the suit for himself. 😁 But then that's only my self analysis. 😅

Super Junior is not outdated. If you look at Gaon Chart records every time Suju put out an album they are at least in top 10 best selling album of that year and they won two year (twice) of best selling album. With PLAY, just to be able to sell 100k+++ album in three days shows how successful and influential they are even after 12 years. It's not something easy to achieve. People might say, these days groups are able to achieve 100k sales easily but they need to remember Super Junior is an old group and are not part of the trend anymore. To still be able to do so is amazing. To still be relevant and influential after 12 years shows how great they are as a band.

SERIOUSLY this song deserves so much better
Even though that they performed at music shows with Black Suit, the fact is that their outstanding singing and dancing skills is proof enough that these guys are still killing it to this day. Yes it would be nice that this masterpiece wins on a lot on music shows, but the fact is, that a lot of people are turning to the 3rd generation idols of today, which is not a bad thing. For me, however, their songs are a perfect example of how Super Junior is constantly improving their craft, no matter how long they've been active for, and nothing will ever beat their music. These guys are the definition of legends in kpop.
Btw Black Suit might be my favourite Super Junior track, but honestly, all their songs are amazing af.
I really miss those days and moments when everytime Suju or other group drop their MV, we will all talk about how great the mv was, the song, the dance, the clothes and the members' handsomness while giving support and loves towards them... but now, what all fandoms cares are increasing the viewers numbers, dominating high ranking and toping every single charts... and then the idols keep getting pressure and pressured... how irony... :/

One of the best songs of super junior especially their dance is well choreograph their presence in this song is so powerful. Maybe their views now is not that much unike to other younger groups but for me, views will never define how was their group become legendary it's simply because of their presence, contribution and to accept it or not they are one of those who spread, the ones who literally opened the doors of kpop in the world so they should be respected in every manner because they really work hard for it.
Totally agree with you! These older members worked hard to produce this song plus One More Chance during the absence of 2 younger ones who are main vocalist. Both Ryeowook and Kyuhyun were in military back then.
Even their rappers - Heechul, Shindong and Eynhyuk stepped up to sing. All of them played their part to keep this group going.
They chose to sing and dance despite having had injuries in the past. Heechul has to endure the pain and Leeteuk too. Both got into accidents before. These men were in their 30s but they had the passion just like their days of youth.
We must really salute them and give them the due respect and credit for these 2 songs especially ♡

I've known SJ for a long time now, first time hearing their song when I was a kid. I think, to this day, Black suit is the best song that gives me a SJ vibe. I mean, every singer has a different vibe, and this song makes me think like "ah this is definitely Super Junior"
Still, can't get over how I thought they were trying to sell Yesung in the auction the first time I started seeing the MV.

Such a catchy song. I'm not an elf, but even so, it feels special to see Super Junior coming back. A warm fuzzy feeling that I don't get often. I guess it's because so many older Kpop groups have disbanded, but these guys still together! I hope Super Junior continues to grow for even more years to come
